Later in Alvera, a few days later after the fight against Ossom the executioner as it was a sight to witness from the people, and to those who fought against Ossom, though it didn't come at a cost to a selfless man. But Ralian is seen on her bed, dressed in her normal attire as she is holding one of Jin's boomerangs as tears flow from her face as she lays down feeling a wallowing of despair.
Then someone at her door knocks, Ralian gets up from her bed and walked towards her door, then opens the door seeing Gale at her door. She gave out a sigh, but it was more calmer seeing her most trusted friend. "It is time Ralian." Gale said.
Ralian wipes off the tears from her face and nods as they begin to walk through the hallway as there are still to be seem of some soldiers injured from the battle against Ossom, but they pass through all of them. Making their way towards the main hall as all their friends are shown as in the middle there is shown to be a casket filled with Jin's items that mean something to him from all his adventures in Devandia.
In the casket there was his mask one of the first thing he had brought to his country blending in with others. His boomerangs, the trusty weapons he always used before getting his power over wind. His brother's necklace he kept it on his neck at all times, always a reminder his brother was always watching him. his clothes, the old clothes he first brought into the country an was changed by the other clothes he was given by his friends Dani and Venny. The encrypted dagger was the first thing Venny had gave to Jin before leaving, but had a secret that cause the very incident made by Venny in Alvera. Finally and most important was the burned photo of him and his friends the crusaders the very last item was the only one found in what remained after the recent battle.
Then Ralian and Gale were the last to leave something to Jin as they were the last people whose been with him as they place each of their items into the casket. Gale was the first, they took off their helmet revealing their face half burnt and the grey hair that was cut, as they place a key as it had help them escape the dungeon of the palace of Alvera. "Without your help Jin we would have already perish from Handikiz thank you for all your help." Before Gale backed away.
Then Ralian places Jin's gauntlet as well some seed Ralian used before when they first fought. "I wish I could say I'm sorry for not being kinder to Gale when I should, you were always wise for being a powerful caster, I wish I could learn from you. But I am sorry this happened to you, rest easy my friend" as tears flow from her eyes.
Gale placing their hand on Ralian's shoulder before turning away and walk off to the others as Dani, and Venny walk towards the casket. They looked at everybody with deep sadness in their hearts, but showing their calm presence to everyone as they knew much of their dear friend the most as he wouldn't like to see their heart broken faces. They both cleared their voice before making their final words, Dani starts first.
"People normally see themselves as the good, or the bad whether they are in the right or wrong as they are filled with regrets" Venny then continued for Dani.
"But Jin, he was different though losing the brother he loved and wanting revenge against the person who killed his brother. Jin did learn how to cope with his pain, as he fought many powerful foes with the friends around him. From bandits, Lord Vanquish, Ezrael, me, Handikiz, the Unknown, Moria, and lastly Ossom. Jin did not matter for his own safety, but only the safety of the people around even his powers were already at his limits he showed to never give up on his beliefs as he inspired others to do others, and for that may our friend or ones we call a brother, shall finally rest and meet with his brother Vant."
As they finish their final word to their friend, and everyone who was present. They then noticed the doors suddenly opened on their own from a gust of wind that started to flow into the room letting the two smile with gratitude knowing Jin is also watching over them. Then Venny, Dani, Ralian, Gale, Ezrael, and even Moria started to carry the casket and started to lead themselves outside of Alvera then onto a hill as they all began to feel a light breeze. "okay this is the place. Venny you know what to do" Dani looking back as Venny nodded, he cuts himself on his newly replaced left arm activating his blood magic and grabs a shovel as he began to dig a hole large enough to put the casket. As they began to lower the casket into the hole and one by one they all grab one handful of dirt and drop them into the whole, from Siph, Venny, Dani, Ezrael, Moria, Gale, and finally Ralian as the whole was then filled and with Jin's sabertooth boomerang was then plunged to the ground as Dani use her fire magic to wield the boomerang into the ground so no one can wield Jin's weapon ever again.
"So what now?" Ralian said questioning what's their next move, but they all see Ezrael's serious expression on his face as she was looking across the distance. "It's what we need to do first, we need to find that enchantress and put a stop to her once a for all" they all looked at Ezrael knowing they need to end this conflict before it's too late.
However they heard another voice, though was full of negativity "what's the point" Siph said with annoyance, yet still feeling broken inside. "Siph... what are you saying?" Dani asked.
"you guys tried to fight the enchantress and rescued most of us, but she had to release that monster and it cost my brother's life just to stop that thing. The enchantress is too powerful for you all" Siph still having tears flowing from her eyes with her silver hair flowing with the wind.
Ralian quickly stepped towards Siph placing a hand on her shoulder, trying to comfort her. "Even if we lost Jin, he allowed us to take down one of the elites, and all that's left is that no good caster Hazard"
"Yeah but that traitor is long gone, it's impossible to track him down or find where she is held in" Gale said.
Then Ezrael walks up "perhaps not, as we can use Venny to use his blood magic on Moria to extract information"
Moria looked at Ezrael with shock and disbelief, "wait hold up I know I have valuable information on where Alison have her bases, but you really think that's necessary?"
Ezrael shook his head, "Not quite, but we need someone to also learn the information in case there was a spy watching against us"
"Yeah but you think it's even located here, the enchantress does have have many bases scattered across the country."
"That may be true, but the survivors we saved could have been one of those few traitors" Ezrael then looks at Dani "Captain Vixen, I do need your permission to speak to the refugees, they could have information, while Venny is using his magic on Moria" Dani looks at Venny "you think you can handle this Venny" Dani said with concern in voice, "of course. I need something to distract me for a while."
"Oh come on!" From Moria yelling out her rant and whining about being used as a toy or worse for a while, she was then forcefully dragged by Ezrael and Venny with Dani leading them from the front. While the four left heading back to Alvera and Moria's yells being less quieter, much later Siph leaves the grave before leaving behind Jin's favourite flowers, white tulips. Now there was Gale and Ralian are left looking down from the one who got their group back together and the first to rest peacefully. They couldn't feel but felt a bit helpless as they knew Jin was powerful, even if he used to hold himself back to he would give the others to have their part done. Now standing near a grave of the greatest friend they ever had. Then Ralian looked at Gale with a bit of sadness in her eyes, "so what do we do now" Ralian asked again.
However Ralian notice Gale holding onto their right side of Gale's body as she quickly recall from start to end of the funeral she noticed Gale was keeping their right hand against their armour. Ralian didn't think of it much before, but she could hear the subtle hurtful voice from Gale.
"Gale, what happened" she asked as Gale nervously react to Ralian, struggling to keep his voice straight "what do you mean" Gale slowly looking down at Ralian as she raises an eyebrow. "Don't give me that look, you were hurt I can see that through your helmet."
Gale knowing Ralian is very observant and knows her the best, Gale sighs and gives in to defeat. "Alright Ralian I will tell you, I did get hurt. But it wasn't from Ossom" Gale removes their hand away from their chest revealing to Ralian their side has a hole. She was shocked to see Gale still standing with a small hole through their armour. "Let me heal you" without hesitation Ralian places her hand against Gale's side and uses her magic to heal Gale's wound. But her magic doesn't work, it was ineffective to heal Gale's wounds, "what? Why isn't my healing working"
"It's because it was the enchantress's doing" Ralian looked at Gale's face with fear and worried for her friend. "She used her dark flame magic mixed with a ray of light. I thought my shield would block it, but it..." Ralian then finish Gale's sentence "pierced through, I know Gale, not the first time we fought an opponent that can pierce through pure steel. Though I guess when we get back, we'll use the more alternative ways of healing". Ralian then helps Gale holding onto their hand. Ralian can feel a bit of discomfort holding onto Gale's hand, knowing what's their true form was during their last adventure together from a dungeon filled with water. But Ralian forgets it for now, and just wants to help her friend in need. They then started walking back to Alvera as to enact how everyone will deal with the pain of a lost friend.
