One of the archers suddenly notices the pond's water glowing brightly and investigates it further. Carfully walking away from the others and making it to the pond, crouching down and looking at the glowing pond and sees their reflection until suddenly changing into someone else's reflection. Suddenly as Venny was having a great chat with Dani and Ralian, Venny saw one of Ralian's students couching down looking at the pond.
"Okay you ladies continue teaching the new ones, there is one slacking off"
"Really? Then shouldn't I handle this? I'm still learning all my student's personalities and may be a great way to learn how each would act" Ralian asked.
"No need, I'll get him back in no time." Venny walks away from the two as they went back to teaching the newcomers. "Hey slacker what do you think your doing glazing off from your reflection"
The slacking then looked back to see Venny crossing his arms as he gives him a stern look, "oh Mr. Lensharth I just saw the water glowing brightly. That is all"
"glowing brighter?" Venny scoffs as he smirks "well you better move back newcomer. The water glowing just means that the Nightly crew is using a water warp magic with the help of Moria, if you don't want to get squish I suggest you move back"
The archer got shocked and move back out of fear of being squashed by the nightly crew leaving Venny waiting for the others. "Okay Jin let see how you react with blood alteration punch." Venny smirked as he grabs his dagger and cuts his left palm feeling the pain coursing through his body activating his blood magic preparing to ambush Jin when they get through the water warping gate.
Ralian and Dani sees Venny activating his blood magic as they could help but give a giggle. "That's Venny for you, must know they are coming"
"Who's coming?" One of them asked.
"Well it's my old crew they are using an ability called water warp, meaning they can quick travel to any location where there is water, more specifically a puddle or larger."
"You know if they are coming I am sure to ask Jin on this new tactic I have been practicing"
"You've been practicing with that fire ball spell?"
"Yeah, ever since I learned how to cast it, I've been developing it in secret, I mean not even Venny knows."
"But you told me?" Ralian replied though in confusion.
"that's because you are someone I can trust with secrets. Just you wait when I try this on them it will be a bang" Dani making some hand gestures with jazz hands.
"You telling me that you learn how to use combustion magic." Ralian smirks at her.
Dani looked down with an shamed expression as she already knew what she developed. "You've got to be kidding me." As Ralian giggled with satisfaction already well aware of what she created.
But back to Venny, he then sees someone coming through the gate and Venny swings his fist with full force as it did connected. He the looked of who he hit, but was shocked to see that the person he punched isn't Jin, but was Moria hitting her face, as she is the first to make it through the gate. She fell on her back still with a mark on her face from his punch, but as Venny looked at Moria he noticed that her body seemed to be a bit wounded with bandages, as she must have gotten into a massive fight.
"Ow you bloody dagger, what was that for!?" Moria shouting at him.
"Moria? What happened? I thought you were still doing your community service?"
"Well we were... no I need to keep this gate open, be ready to help the people from the west. The others will be coming" Moria quickly uses her water warping magic to keep the gate stable.
"What?" Venny confused of what's happening as a hand then reaches from the water gate. Shocked to see as people started to sprung out of the gate, they all seemed to be beaten, bruised, and even chained as if they all haven't seem the light in years. Venny started to have all the memories reminiscing all his when he was imprisoned below the palace of Alvera for ten years before having his release thanks to his friends.
"Hey Blood Caster don't just stand there help those people!" Moria shouting at Venny again.
Venny snapping out from his sudden memory, quickly rushed over and grabbed the person hand pulling a civilian in onto the ground. "Tell me, what's going on Moria what happened to the others."
"Less thinking and more helping to the people of the west"
"What!? I thought the west was the safest side of Devandia... never mind." Venny quickly look towards the two guards. "hey you two get Ralian and Dani quick we need to help these people!"
They quickly nodded and quickly ran to get and asked for Ralian and Dani's help. As Venny continue to grab civilians one by one seeing many faces from the west. It gave Venny and uneasy feeling, "Moria I don't get it, these people are from the west, and me, Jin and Dani had came here multiple times and we haven't seen any unusual activities how did it come to this."
"Well since you are helping and making time worth while with that blood magic of yours then I'll give a brief explanation."
Moria started to quickly explain what had happened during their in the west from what she saw. As such we were given a mission only at the west, sure the others were surprised. But I seen my fair share of trouble at the west as I used to observe with my water warping magic as I was known as the observer during my time leashed to that enchantress. We did adventure towards the west with Jin wind, but we weren't exactly having a fine welcome as we were mostly shot down.
Venny then interrupt her explanation. "Like with that beast you used to knock out Jin"
"At least let me finish the whole thing, before you rudely interrupt me!" Moria nagging at Venny as she continue to explain.
As I was saying, I was allowed to use my magic once again thanks to Ezrael taking off that blasted bind from the collar on my neck. But I did used my water warping magic to create a gate to a dungeon that even I wasn't aware of. Though it was the same dungeon where we saved these lost meat and even have that fight.
"That fight? What are you saying, Jin, Gale and Ezrael are fighting some monster."
"No not just some monster someone who I was aquatinted with"
Then they heard voices calling out for them. They looked back and see Ralian and Dani arriving with the archers and guards "Venny what happened" Ralian looks at Moria shocked to see her as well. "And what is that Siren doing here, and why don't you have that binding spell on your neck"
"Can you not argue with me Druid or your friends will die!"
Ralian doesn't have the time to argue quickly summons vines as they plunges into the water gate grabbing onto more civilians as Dani is helping the survivors with the help of the guards "Coach, Hatch go inform the king" "yes Captain". The two guards began to leave to inform the guards as they continue to save more people from the water gate.
Then a familiar gauntlet reaches out, catching the attention of Venny and Dani "Dani help me out that's Jin's hand poking through" Venny and Dani quickly hold onto Jin's hand and pull him out with all their might but as they were expecting their friend joyful to see them. But their eyes were changed frightened with fear and shock, as they see their friend Jin bleeding, cracks on his face and is missing an arm and someone holding onto him. "Jin... happened to you... what happened to your arm"
Despite all the damage he's been taking he first wanted to ensure his sister's safety. "Don't worry about me, just... keep my sister safe"
"Your sister, Siph is that her, why is she here? I thought she was at your home country"
"Yes, but don't hesitate one bit... need to save more people" Jin then cough out a bit of blood from his mouth.
"Jin your injured you can't and we have more matters to worry about."
"That don't matter to someone like me" Jin quickly gets up and prepares to use his wind to grab more people but the cracks on his face started to break even further. He couldn't help but yelled out a scream in pain as he then falls to his knees.
"Jin these cracks are killing you, how did they appear did you over used your magic. If that's the case then if you keep straining it you'll die" Jin hearing his two best friend cry in vain knowing he's going to die, Jin smiled. "Don't worry I have a few left before I tap out it's fine".
Suddenly the water began to bubble profusely "that's odd?" Moria in wonder.
"What is it now Siren, is that Gale and Ezrael"
"I do sense Ezrael going through, but I don't sense the Changeling anywhere"
"Siren you better not be lying"
"Wait never mind I do sense your little best friend"
"Okay are they coming"
"Don't rush the water gate needs my focus all you need to do is to save those mortals."
As they continue to rescue people Gale finally emerges from the gate "Moria, Ezrael is coming be prepare to close the gate!"
"what why? What's coming" Ralian asked.
Then the water begins to rumble even further "oh no he followed them" Moria showing an expression of fear as the water in the pond began to rumble big, and bigger.
"what, who followed them?" Ralian showing concern for the sudden danger coming.
Then someone flies out of the water gate as it closed, they witness Ezrael fighting someone as he was already in his dragon form thanks to his necklace. But was then grabbed by the tail and was quick to get slammed to the ground by someone. It was so powerful that it create a crater where Ezrael lay as well creating a big shockwave Jin, Dani, Venny, and Siph gets launched to the left, Ralian and Gale to the right, and Moria fell back into the water as well the prisoners and guards were pushed away by the shockwave.
"Oh no he's through" Moria resurfaces, as the one who pinned Ezrael to the ground was a large ogre. But it wasn't just any ogre as it is seen to be wearing what looked to be very powerful armour.
"What the heck an ogre when do they exist!? and where did they get such armour." Ralian shocked to see an ogre as before she read many books and some did say that many large mythical creatures were thought to be extinct.
"No time we need to help Ezrael" Gale quickly ran to help Ezrael, as Ralian quickly followed.
The ogre started to make a sudden laugh grabbing Ezrael by the neck. "Are you ready to fall Dragon, your about to fall under the great Ossom the Executor one of four of Enchantress elites, and I will be your doom!"
"Yeah and you talk to much" Ezrael then takes a deep breath and exhaled unleashing a burning white flame at Ossom but he grabs his shield and blocks his white flame with ease "what's wrong little Dragon scared of my shield."
"Your shield is made of adamantite thought when the dwarves were near extinction the first was to declined all their rare ore so that no one can get their hands on." Ossom begin to grin "you forgot little dragon the Enchantress was willing to give me this shield, not only that she also gave me a sword that can easily slay your kind's hard scales with ease". Suddenly a slight fear begin to emit from Ezrael "judging by your face Ossom that shows you what I have" Ossom then unsheathed his sword revealing a claymore glimmer with a mixture of dark green and teal shining brightly as made from the strongest ore mythril. The one thing that can actually permanently kill any dragon, including Ezrael.
