Lisa finally got up slowly, stretching one paw at a time, and looked at her own body with attention, turning her head to one side, then the other, examining her paws, her chest, her flanks.
She made a thoughtful face, lifted a paw and lowered it, shook her body, and tried to see her own back.
"I don't feel any difference," she said, finally, and there was a hint of mild disappointment in her tone. "I expected to feel something. A new power, a shiver, anything. I'm the same. Just..."
She stopped, because something big and furry swayed behind her, and she turned her head so fast she nearly spun her whole body around.
The third tail was there, swaying, an almost shining white, and Lisa stared at it for one whole second, her eyes wide.
"I have an extra tail," she said, slowly.
'You do,' he confirmed, and couldn't hold back a laugh.
