Because of what had happened earlier, they became much more cautious on their way back to the city after everything was over.
Fortunately, nothing unexpected occurred, and they returned to Fox City safely.

Mariselle looked around outside the city gates curiously and tugged on Caelric's arms. "So this is what a city on land looks like. Caelric, look over there! It looks completely different from the Mermaid Kingdom!"
"Your Highness, slow down. Be careful not to trip," Caelric said helplessly, letting her pull him all around.
