Chapter 47 - Party After The War And Mikaela met Megan Fox. (fix)

Allen watched the way Thanos died and could only shake his head. He honestly didn't expect the ending to turn out like this.

"Sweetheart… why do you look disappointed?" Raviel asked softly, almost as if she was worried this might somehow be her fault.

"No. I'm not disappointed," Allen said, shaking his head again, forcing a small smile to stay on his face.

Truth be told, his original plan had been different. He'd wanted to drag the fight out a little longer—long enough for Iron Man to get his hands on all six Infinity Stones. Then Allen would've knocked Tony out cold, taken the Stones himself… and been the one to snap.

While saying, "I am Allen."

But now that Thanos was already dead, that entire plan had gone up in smoke.

Still… Allen knew that plan would've cost a lot of lives on their side. And that wouldn't have been fair. Not if he was just doing it to satisfy his own ego.

Suddenly, a woman shot down from the sky and landed in the middle of the battlefield in a burst of golden light. It was Captain Marvel.

"Hey, guys. Did I miss something?" Carol asked, looking around at the completely destroyed Avengers base. The place was in ruins. Some of the surviving forces were cheering in victory, while others were stepping through glowing portals opened by the sorcerers from Kamar-Taj, heading back to their own worlds.

"Yeah, you missed a lot," Rocket replied dryly. "Most importantly? You missed one hell of a fight."

Carol raised an eyebrow. "Oh yeah? You mind telling me what exactly happened here?" she asked, clearly curious.

Not long ago, right after Bruce snapped his fingers, she had been on another planet. The moment she saw that the people who had vanished were suddenly reappearing across the galaxy, she didn't hesitate. She immediately flew straight back to Earth at top speed.

Unfortunately, it looked like she was too late.

Instead of arriving in the middle of the chaos, she showed up after everything was already over. The battlefield had gone quiet. The war was finished.

All that remained were the ruins… and the aftermath of a fight she hadn't been there to see.

Allen was about ready to leave this place behind. He wanted to get some rest… and maybe have a little fun with Raviel and Mikaela after everything that had just happened.

But before he could slip away, Tony approached him, Pepper walking right beside him.

"Allen, where are you guys heading?" Tony asked casually. Then he smiled and gestured toward the woman next to him. "Oh, right. Let me introduce you. This is Pepper. My wife."

Allen gave a polite nod and introduced himself in return. Raviel and Mikaela did the same, greeting Pepper with friendly smiles.

"Yeah," Allen replied calmly, hands in his pockets. "We're just going to find a place to rest for a bit… then we'll be leaving this world after that."

"What do you mean by leaving?" Tony asked, frowning slightly. "And hey—I'm planning to throw a party. I'd really like you guys to be there."

It was clear he was trying to stop Allen from disappearing too soon. After everything that had happened, Tony wanted everyone who made it out alive to be there.

Allen glanced sideways at Raviel and Mikaela.

Mikaela looked genuinely interested at the mention of a party, her eyes lighting up a little. Raviel, on the other hand, simply smiled softly, as if to say she didn't mind either way.

"Hm…" Allen hummed thoughtfully, then gave a small grin. "Alright. We'll come."

Tony's smile widened immediately.

Guess they weren't leaving just yet.

.....

And just like that, Tony immediately started gathering the rest of the Avengers to throw a proper victory party—especially to celebrate bringing back everyone who had vanished five years ago because of the Snap.

Truth was… Tony had already prepared most of this in advance. He'd set it up before they even went on the Time Heist. Maybe it was optimism. Maybe it was a backup plan. Either way, he'd been ready.

By now, the evening was approaching night, and all the Avengers along with several invited guests had gathered in one of the luxurious buildings owned by Stark Industries in New York. The place was high-end, modern, and more than suitable for a celebration of this scale.

As for the people who had been injured earlier, Raviel had already healed them for free by giving them a Senzu Bean.

"This really is an incredible bean. My injuries healed instantly," Bruce said while moving his arm around.

The others who had eaten one also thanked Raviel, because now they could truly enjoy the party.

Raviel simply nodded.

"You're welcome," she said while taking a sip of the expensive wine served at the party.

"Oh, by the way, Raviel—can I take a few samples of those Senzu Beans? I'd like to research them," Tony said, clearly interested in the beans.

Raviel raised one eyebrow.

"Hmmm… sure, go ahead. I still have an infinite stock of those beans anyway," Raviel replied.

Hearing that, Tony immediately secured all the beans and quickly brought them to his personal storage.

"Hey Tony, wait for me!" Bruce said as he hurried after him. He was obviously interested in researching the Senzu Beans as well.

This made the others laugh a little at the behavior of the two men.

Not long after that, Peter stepped out of the elevator, followed by his Aunt May. When he saw the Avengers talking with Allen and the others, he quickly brought his aunt over to introduce himself.

"Uh—hi, sir! And ma'am, nice to meet you! I'm Peter Parker. I'm Spider-Man. Oh! I heard you guys are time travelers. So, what's it like traveling to other worlds? And, um, is Hogwarts real? Because I saw you using magic with a wand like Harry Potter. And also—does the DC Universe actually exist? Is Batman real? Oh! And Miss Raviel, that glowing sword you used—the one that looked like a giant pillar of light—what sword was that? I'm seriously really curious!"

Peter kept talking without taking a single breath.

Allen didn't even get a chance to respond.

Raviel didn't either.

The words just kept coming, one question after another, stacking up like rapid-fire bullets.

"…Kid," Rocket muttered dryly. "Let them breathe."

Peter blinked.

"Oh. Right. Sorry. I do that sometimes."

Allen stared at him for a second… then let out a small amused chuckle.

"Well," Allen said casually, leaning back in his seat, "that's a lot of questions."

Allen, of course, started answering Peter's questions one by one—calmly and casually, like he actually had all the time in the world.

"Yes, other worlds exist," he said.

"Yes, Hogwarts does exist too. And as for other universes? Let's just say… reality is bigger than you think."

"And the sword I used earlier is called ExCaliburn," Raviel added.

"Excalibur…?" Peter repeated.

Peter's eyes somehow grew even wider with every answer, especially when he heard about that glowing sword.

But while he was talking, Allen's gaze shifted slightly.

His eyes moved toward May Parker, Peter's aunt.

"Well, well…" he said casually, a teasing smirk forming on his lips. "And who's the beautiful lady? Did you come here with her, Peter?"

Peter froze.

His face instantly went pale.

This was because when he looked toward his aunt, she seemed completely captivated by Allen.

Ohhh no… this is bad. This is seriously just like one of those harem protagonist stories I watched in anime.

"W-Wait—Mr. Allen—!"

Before he could finish—

"I'm May Parker. Just call me May. And I'm Peter's aunt. It's nice to meet you, Allen," May said while shaking Allen's hand.

"Ah, yes… she's my aunt. Anyway—where were we earlier? I also have some other questions," Peter said quickly, clearly trying to interrupt them.

Allen obviously noticed that and could only shake his head.

You're such a silly boy, Peter.

At the same time, Raviel simply smiled sweetly, clearly amused by what was happening here.

Mikaela looked like she was trying not to laugh while taking a few sips of her drink.

Aside from the Avengers, there were also several beautiful models and celebrities attending the party.

"Ohhh, looks like the other guests are here," Tony said as he returned after securing the Senzu Beans.

And finally, their party could begin.

Everyone eventually split up to find their own spots to chat and enjoy their drinks.

...

Shortly after Allen, Raviel, and Mikaela found a place to drink and relax, enjoying the party.

Mikaela suddenly froze.

Among the arriving guests was a woman who looked incredibly similar to her.

Same dark hair. Same sharp features. Same confident presence.

Mikaela slowly turned toward Allen, clearly confused.

"Allen… is that the woman you were talking about? The one who looks like me? The one named Megan Fox?"

Allen glanced over and nodded calmly. "Yeah. That's her."

Mikaela looked at the woman again, then frowned slightly.

"But she looks older… and her chest—did she have surgery or something? Maybe even on her face?" she muttered bluntly.

Allen immediately shook his head, half amused, half exasperated.

"Why are you analyzing her like that?" he said dryly. "You're supposed to be enjoying the party."

Still…

For a brief moment, Allen found himself staring at the actress with a somewhat unreadable expression.

Not because he was captivated.

But because seeing someone from another world who looked almost identical to the woman standing right beside him…

Yeah.

That was just surreal.

Meanwhile, Megan was obviously looking in their direction as well. The moment her eyes landed on Allen, her very first impression hit her like a truck—this was the first time in her life she had seen a man as handsome as him walking on this planet. And honestly? He could even be considered more handsome than Thor and Captain America, who were currently chatting with the other Avengers.

Well… even though Thor looked more like an overweight guy these days.

Then her gaze shifted to the two beautiful women sitting beside that ridiculously handsome man. But instead of focusing on him again, Megan's attention locked onto Mikaela.

She froze.

WTF is happening here? Why is there someone who looks exactly like me… but like a younger version of myself?

And right now, Mikaela and Megan were staring at each other coldly, like their eyes were saying the exact same thing — who the hell are you, why did you steal my face?

The tension between them was almost visible in the air.

Allen, who noticed that silent war starting to form, just shook his head.

Allen, who noticed that silent war starting to form, just shook his head.

"Mikaela, how about we just move somewhere else?" Allen said casually.

But Mikaela shook her head. "Nah, you guys go. I want to talk to that woman for a bit," she replied, refusing.

Hearing that, Allen simply nodded. "Okay."

He wasn't about to get involved in that kind of situation.

Instead, he moved to sit with the rest of the Avengers, joining Captain America, Thor, Rocket, and the others. And of course, Raviel followed him and sat down beside him.

At the moment, Thor was telling the story about how he met his mother in the past during the events of Avengers: Endgame. He was recounting the emotional part, his voice cracking slightly. His eyes were red, and he honestly looked like a giant Norse baby trying not to cry but completely failing.

"Alright, alright, Thor, stop whining like a baby," Rocket said flatly.

After Allen joined them, Thor glanced at him, still sniffling a little, clearly not done being emotional.

"New guy," Rocket said, looking at Allen. "How about you tell us your story instead? We're kinda tired of Thor's story over here."

Yeah, the other Avengers were clearly a little curious too—especially since Allen was a time traveler who could wander across multiple worlds. That alone made him way more interesting than most people in the room.

"Oh? You guys want to hear my story?" Allen raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure? Most of my stories usually end up revolving around romance. I think that might get boring for you."

He said it honestly, without even trying to sound cool about it.

There was a brief silence after that.

"Hey, what do you mean by that? Are you really a time traveler like you claim?" Rocket protested, crossing his arms.

"Well, the reason I said that is because the most dangerous world I've ever gone to is this one," Allen replied honestly. "And my purpose for coming here is simple. I just need to obtain a few important things. After that, I'll leave."

He was clearly referring to Tony's Arc Reactor, Extrimis virus and a copied version of JARVIS AI. Some of the Avengers already knew that—especially after how Allen had followed Tony to the future during the time heist incident.

"So you're saying you've only been to normal worlds?" Banner asked, adjusting his glasses slightly.

"Well… I wouldn't exactly call them normal," Allen said with a small shrug. "There were still dangers waiting in those worlds too…"

After that, Allen began explaining about the Transformers world—the one Mikaela came from. He mentioned that there were still several robots hiding on Earth who hadn't made their move yet, mostly because, from his perspective, the main plot of their story hadn't started.

Naturally, everyone glanced toward Mikaela. She seemed to be talking with Megan Fox, though honestly, it looked more like they were subtly mocking each other rather than having a normal conversation.

"So that woman really is Mikaela? I thought she was Megan Fox at first," Aunt May said, joining the conversation. Since Peter was still underage and couldn't drink alcohol, she ended up staying close and basically keeping him company.

"Okay, so what about the other world? Didn't you say there was another one besides Transformers?" Rocket asked, clearly not very interested in that one.

"Well, for the second world… has anyone here ever played the game Resident Evil?" Allen asked.

The only one who raised his hand was Peter.

"Oh! Me… me! So the Resident Evil game world is actually real? That's awesome! I really wanna meet Leon!" Peter said excitedly.

The others just shook their heads.

"Okay, kid, can you let Allen explain what that world is actually like first?" Bruce said. He was genuinely curious. He rarely watched movies or played games since most of his life had been spent researching or running from the government.

Allen nodded and continued his story.

The Avengers listened more seriously now.

He explained that in his original world, Resident Evil was just a game. But in that universe, it was reality. He talked about the viral outbreak that would happen in Raccoon City, bio-organic weapons, and a powerful corporation experimenting on humanity. Entire cities collapsing under zombie infections and mutated monsters created in laboratories.

The mood around the group grew noticeably heavier.

Even Rocket stopped making sarcastic comments for a moment.

"Yeah… okay," Clint commented, scratching the back of his head. "That definitely doesn't sound normal. And it also sounds like there were a lot of crazy people over there… especially the scientists."

He slowly turned his head to look at Bruce.

Banner blinked. "Hey. Why are you looking at me?"

"I'm just saying," Clint replied with a small shrug. "Lab experiments. Viruses. Monsters. That's kinda your category."

Bruce let out a tired sigh. "I didn't create zombies."

Allen casually added, "To be fair, most of the outbreaks in that world were caused by corporations trying to play god. Illegal bio-weapons research, human experimentation, profit over ethics. You know… the usual bad decisions."

"That doesn't make it better," Bruce muttered.

Thor, who had finally stopped sniffling, frowned slightly. "Midgard truly has many strange and terrible realms."

Rocket crossed his arms again. "Yeah, but I still think this world's worse. We got purple maniacs snapping half the universe away."

"I am Groot," Groot said.

"Yeah, yeah, he agrees with me," Rocket translated casually.

That made a few of them laugh, easing the heavy atmosphere just a little.
