....

Allen, who saw the two middle-aged men answer at the same time when he called out to Howard, was of course slightly confused.

Wait… why did both of these men answer at the same time, especially Tony? Did I miss something? Allen thought. This was because even though he knew the MCU plot, it didn't mean he remembered every single detail either.

After all, he obviously didn't have a photographic memory like Doctor Strange.

"Oh, I just wanted to let you know that Dr. Zola has already gone home. By the way, Howard… who's he?" Allen asked.

Howard glanced at him, then casually made the introduction. "Oh, Allen, he's a visitor from M.I.T. Funny enough, his name's Howard too. And Howard—this is Allen. He's my assistant, also an M.I.T graduate."

Allen immediately extended his hand. "Hey, Howard. Nice to meet you. I'm Allen… Allen Winter."

At the same time, Allen quietly reached out to Raviel through their connection.

[Honey, can you help me? I need something.]

"I'm Howard… Howard Potts," Tony replied, still sounding slightly unsure.

A faint crease formed on his forehead. As far as he remembered, there had never been any record of his father having a close assistant named Allen in the company archives.

And Tony Stark did not forget names that easily.

Meanwhile, as Allen, Tony, and Howard continued their awkward little conversation in the warehouse, Raviel was back at the base, casually watching TV with Mikaela when she felt the familiar mental call from her beloved husband.

She smiled softly.

[Yes, darling? What do you need?] Raviel replied gently, while subtly using her ability to peek at what Allen was currently seeing.

[Oh? So you've already met Tony?] she added, her tone turning slightly amused.

Back in the warehouse, Allen kept nodding and throwing in small responses to Howard and Tony to stall for time.

[Yeah, something like that. By the way, I need something here. Can you give me a temporary ability or wombo jumbo power? Something that can hypnotize someone—like magic or something?] Allen asked calmly through their link.

He wasn't asking that power for messing around, of course.

He simply didn't want a fight breaking out here. The last thing he didn't want was a major conflict inside this place that would attract unnecessary attention. A single wrong move could snowball into chaos—and Allen was not in the mood to rewrite half the timeline today.

Raviel hummed thoughtfully.

[Ohh, of course, darling. Anything you want. How about the Mangekyō Sharingan with Kotoamatsukami?] she suggested sweetly.

Allen's left eye twitched slightly.

[Hey—can we not? I don't want to permanently brainwash Tony here, okay? And please don't give me powers that change my eye pattern or any other body part. Even if it looks cool, it just feels like some kid with 8th grade syndrome.] Allen replied quickly. Even he had standards. Messing with Tony Stark's mind on that level? That didn't sound like "fixing a situation."

Raviel simply smiled when she heard his thoughts. [Alright, alright. Then how about wizard magic like Harry Potter? You could use the Imperius Curse to temporarily hypnotize them,] she suggested, clearly enjoying teasing her husband.

Allen went quiet for a moment, still casually throwing small questions at Tony to keep the conversation flowing. [Ahh… okay, I guess that could work. But don't make it permanent. I still want to act low-key here,] Allen replied.

[Yes, yes, darling. Whatever you say,] Raviel answered with a small shake of her head. She reached into her inventory and pulled out a wand. It was crafted from ebony wood with a phoenix feather core, eleven inches long—sleek and well-balanced. With a flick of her wrist, she tossed the wand into a small portal. A split second later, it appeared in Allen's hand.

The moment his fingers wrapped around it, extra knowledge flowed into his mind—spells, wand movements, incantations. It felt natural. As if he had always known magic.

Meanwhile, back in the room—

Mikaela blinked. "What was that just now?"

"Oh, that? Just a magic wand. Allen wanted to try something," Raviel replied casually while watching TV.

"A magic wand? You mean like magic in Harry Potter? So… is the world of Harry Potter actually real?" Mikaela asked, her eyes shining.

Raviel nodded. "Yes. That world is real."

Mikaela's eyes widened even more. "Oh! Can I see one too? Please?"

Raviel smiled. "Of course." She summoned another wand and gently tossed it to Mikaela. Then she pulled out one for herself.

"So," Raviel said with a playful smirk, spinning the wand between her fingers, "want to have some fun? How about a duel, little witch?"

Mikaela grinned. "Bring it on, Granger."

Not long after, the two of them disappeared from the room, teleporting outside to a secluded place to start their magical duel.

...

Back to Allen. After grabbing his wand, without any hesitation, he immediately cast his spell.

"Imperio," Allen said, pointing his wand at Howard.

Howard instantly fell silent, as if hypnotized, his body going still.

"What the fuck?!" Tony shouted. At the same time, panic surged through him and he tried to activate his nano-suit—but Allen was faster.

"Petrificus Totalus," Allen said, instantly freezing Tony like a statue before he toppled to the floor stiffly. Thud…!

"Hehe, sorry about this, Tony, but I have to do it," Allen said. Then he looked at Howard, who was still under the Imperius Curse.

"Alright, Howard, how about you step outside and go see Jarvis right now?" Allen said calmly.

Howard nodded and immediately left the room. But Allen didn't forget to cast Obliviate as well, making sure Howard wouldn't remember any of this later.

After Howard left, Allen turned to Tony, who was still frozen. He quickly grabbed the briefcase, took Tony's hand, and cast Apparition magic, teleporting straight to his private room.

"Hmm… where are Raviel and Mikaela?" Allen muttered when he saw that his personal bedroom seemed empty.

[Darling, Mikaela and I are having some fun. We'll be back in fifteen minutes,] Raviel replied instantly.

"Avada Kedavra!" Raviel shouted.

A green flash filled with a deadly aura shot forward like a laser toward Mikaela. It instantly made the hairs on the back of Mikaela's neck stand on end, sending chills down her spine.

"Expelliarmus!" Mikaela countered, deflecting Raviel's attack. "WTF… Raviel, that's an Unforgivable Curse! You're trying to kill me!" Mikaela protested.

"Hahaha, don't worry, sis. If you die, I can just bring you back," Raviel replied, looking like a full-fledged Dark Lord at that moment.

"Shit… fine then—Avada Kedavra!" Mikaela fired back. "Hahaha, die, evil bitch!" she shouted, getting completely carried away in the heat of the moment.

But Raviel instantly dodged by using Apparition magic, vanishing from the spot.

Meanwhile, Allen didn't waste a second. After stripping all the nanotech off Tony's body, he conjured thick, reinforced ropes through Transfiguration and secured him tightly—arms pinned, torso wrapped, legs bound—making absolutely sure there was zero chance of movement once the stun spell wore off. He even checked the knots twice out of habit, even though the magic alone was more than enough.

"Sorry about this," Allen muttered under his breath as he tightened the final loop. "You'll thank me later…" he added, convincing himself this counted as a good deed.

But when he took a step back and looked at how thoroughly he had tied Tony up, he slowly shook his head.

"…Well. Probably not."

Tony remained frozen under the effects of Petrificus Totalus, his face locked somewhere between disbelief and pure outrage. Allen flicked his wand once more, layering a subtle locking charm over the bindings—just in case Tony tried to pull off something genius the moment he regained control.

Inside that unmoving body, Tony absolutely wanted to scream. He wanted to swear. Loudly. Preferably with creative vocabulary. He had no idea what the hell was going on—but none of his muscles would respond. Not a single one.

Outside—

Steve Rogers had officially crossed the line from patient to concerned.

At first, he figured Tony got distracted. That was practically a personality trait. But minutes passed. Then a few more.

"Tony, what's taking you so long?" Steve called out, glancing toward the hallway again.

Nothing.

His jaw tightened slightly. Tony might wander off mid-conversation—but he didn't vanish in the middle of something important without commentary. And definitely not without sarcasm.

Steve's instincts kicked in. He folded his arms for a moment, giving it one last chance.

"Alright. That's enough," he muttered.

After waiting longer than he was comfortable with and still not seeing Tony reappear, Steve finally moved. He headed inside the warehouse—the same direction Tony had gone earlier.

The atmosphere shifted immediately.

His eyes swept across the space with trained precision, automatically calculating exits, scanning corners, checking elevated platforms, shadows, blind spots. Every detail registered. Every sound—or lack of it—mattered.

"Tony?" he called out, his voice steady and controlled, echoing faintly against the metal walls.

Silence answered him.

No sarcastic remark. No annoyed response. No dramatic entrance.

That alone made Steve's expression harden.

Now fully on alert, he advanced deeper into the warehouse, boots landing softly despite his size. He checked behind crates, near storage racks, and along the side corridors—methodically retracing the exact path Tony had taken earlier.

The quiet stretched longer with every step.

Too quiet.

And Steve Rogers knew one thing for sure—

Something wasn't right.

.....

Then Allen casually flicked his wand, lifting the effects of the Petrificus Totalus spell and allowing Tony to move again.

Air rushed violently into Tony's lungs—because up until now, he hadn't been able to breathe at all.

There was exactly half a second of silence.

And then—

"Hey, Howard. Or should I call you Tony Stark? Maybe Iron Man? From the future—the one who came back to the past for a time heist," Allen said with a smirk.

Tony froze for a completely different reason this time.

"…Okay. Not loving that you know that," Tony replied slowly, eyes narrowing. "Hold on. So you know who I am. Which means this whole thing wasn't random." He tilted his head slightly despite still being tied up. "Who are you? Some kind of wizard from Kamar-Taj? And what exactly do you want?"

There it was. Tony's brain running at full speed.

Allen gave a small nod. "Well, for a genius, you catch on pretty fast. But no—I'm not a sorcerer from Kamar-Taj. And technically, they prefer calling themselves Sorcerers, okay? Branding matters."

He casually twirled his wand between his fingers.

"They borrow power from other dimensions to cast their magic. That's how their system works. Structured. Ritual-based. Energy channeling through external sources."

Allen lifted the wand slightly.

"What I use? Different category."

He gave Tony a relaxed look.

"This is actual wizard magic. Internalized. Spell-structured. Wand-channeled. No dimensional borrowing. No cosmic overdraft fees."

Tony blinked.

"…Cosmic overdraft fees?"

Allen shrugged. "Point is—I'm not affiliated with Kamar-Taj."

Tony stared at the wand. Then back at Allen.

"Okay. So you're telling me you're not Doctor Strange's weird cousin. And you're actually from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry?"

"Nope. First of all, in this world there's no such thing as Hogwarts. In another world? Sure. But not in the Marvel universe," Allen said casually.

That only made Tony more confused when he mention about marver univers, but he decided to ignore that part—for now.

"You just casually know my identity. How? What are you—some kind of time traveler?" Tony asked, recalling how Allen had mentioned another world. He was a genius with a high IQ, after all. He caught onto things quickly.

Allen shrugged lightly. "Oh, that? You could say that. And I just know. Especially since your face looks a lot like someone named Robert Downey Junior."

Tony frowned.

"Who the hell is Robert Downey Junior? And you tied me up for what—some kind of friendly TED Talk?" he shot back, trying to break free from the ropes, though it was obviously impossible.

Allen's smirk widened slightly.

"Hahaha. About that Robert guy—you don't need to know. But can you relax and stop moving like that? Don't make me curse you again just to make you cooperate, okay? If I wanted you dead, we wouldn't be having this conversation."

Tony leaned back as much as the ropes allowed.

"…That is both reassuring and deeply concerning at the same time."

His eyes sharpened again.

"But fine. What exactly do you want?"

Hearing that, Allen immediately walked over and sat in another chair, looking at Tony seriously.

"Cough… cough… so here's the deal. I need a few things from you."

Tony stared at him flatly.

"I need your AI technology—something like a copy of JARVIS. Then your nanotech. And also the data from the Extremis virus. I hope you don't refuse, because if you do…"

With a small motion of his hand, the Tesseract shimmered into view, glowing faintly blue.

"…I'll take this and I won't be handing it back to you."

Tony wanted to groan.

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR DAMN MIND?!" Tony exploded.

If looks could kill, Allen would've been vaporized on the spot.

"First of all—you just mind-controlled my father. Second—why am I tied up like I lost a bet at a Boy Scout camp?! And you're doing all of this because you want my technology?!"

Tony struggled against the ropes, which—unfortunately for him—did not care about his outrage.

"Oh, and let's not ignore the part where you froze me like a human popsicle!" he continued. "Do you have any idea how violating that feels? I couldn't blink. I couldn't breathe properly. I couldn't even deliver a sarcastic comeback. That's cruel."

Allen simply smiled at the complaints.

"Are you satisfied?" Allen asked calmly.

Tony nodded. "Yeah. At least I've said what I needed to say."

"So? Do you agree to my request?"

That made Tony look at Allen more seriously.

"Tsk. Look, I'm not exactly refusing," Tony said honestly this time. "But even if I said yes, I wouldn't be able to do it."

Allen raised an eyebrow.

"Why not?"

"Because all the technology you want? The AI copy. The nanotech. The finalized Extremis data?"

Tony's expression hardened.

"That all exists in the future timeline. At my house. Not here."

"Well, if that's something easy, then doesn't that mean I just need to follow you to the future?" Allen said casually.

But the moment the words left his mouth—

BAM!

The door to his room was violently kicked open, nearly torn off its hinges.

It was Captain America.

Without hesitation, he moved to take Allen down with a single clean punch meant to knock him out.

Smack—!

But the hit never landed.

Allen caught his fist mid-air.

"Jeez… why so brutal?" Allen muttered.

The reaction clearly shocked Steve Rogers. He hadn't expected his punch to be stopped so easily. This indicates that his opponent this time is certainly not an ordinary person.

Then—

Allen's other hand, the one holding a wand, slowly lifted and aimed straight at the Captain's chest.

Across the room, Tony Stark saw it instantly.

He had already witnessed Allen stop Steve's attack with ease, and now the wand pointed directly at Steve made his eyes widen.

"Captain, watch out!" Tony shouted.

Too late.

"Stupefy."

A flash of red light burst from the tip of the wand.

Captain America's body went rigid, frozen in shock—

—and then—

Thud!

He collapsed onto the floor, unconscious. Just like Tony earlier.

At that same moment, two figures Apparated into the room with a sharp crack.

Raviel and Mikaela.

"Babe, what happened here? Why is our door wrecked? And who are they?" Mikaela asked, staring at the one unconscious men on the floor.

Allen let out a quiet sigh.

Yeah… he'd have to explain everything to Mikaela first.

Then he'd probably need to have another conversation with Captain America after cleaning this mess up.

Thankfully, he had magic now.

Allen raised his wand calmly toward the broken doorway.

"Reparo."
