Chapter 29 - Plans For A Cruise Vacation

A/N :More power stones, more power stones, more power stones, please.

........

Harvard University, 1994.

It had been two years since Allen enrolled at Harvard, and somehow, instead of looking stressed like everyone else, he looked… bored.

"I don't know why time passes so quickly," Allen muttered.

"Dude, you look like you're zoning out hard," said a junior, casually leaning against a park bench on campus. "Let me guess—thinking about some hot girl again?"

Allen didn't even deny it. He just shrugged, eyes drifting toward the trees.

"Yeah… something like that. I was thinking about a friend."

"A friend?" the junior smirked. "C'mon, don't lie. She's pretty, right?"

Allen nodded slowly.

"Yeah. She's pretty."

"Man… at least tell me this— is she hotter than Mrs. Alex?"

Allen snorted.

"Alex? You mean Alex Wesker? No idea. Never seen her in person."

The junior immediately leaned closer, lowering his voice like he was sharing classified government secrets.

"Bro, I heard she's super sexy. Like, dangerous-sexy. Tons of followers too. Oh, and rumor says she's recruiting talented people in specific fields. With your brain? You're totally on her radar."

Allen waved it off.

"Ohhh, really…? Yeah, no thanks. I'm not interested in working for some pharmaceutical company. Feels like wasting my life locked in a lab, not really living."

He smirked.

"I prefer enjoying life while being surrounded by beautiful women, you know?"

The junior burst out laughing.

"Damn it, Allen! You can say that because women practically orbit around you. You absolute womanizer!"

They both laughed loudly, earning a few annoyed looks from stressed-out students nearby, then casually headed toward the main hall like they didn't have a care in the world.

"By the way," Daniel said, patting Allen on the shoulder, "congrats on graduating."

"Thanks. Same to you, Daniel," Allen replied with a relaxed smile.

Daniel hesitated, then asked, "Hey… can I ask you something?"

"Sure," Allen said, fishing a coin out of his pocket and feeding it into a vending machine. A can of cold cola dropped with a satisfying clunk.

"Why did you sell the patent for that telekinetic weapon to the U.S. government?" Daniel asked seriously. "I heard you designed it yourself."

Allen grinned like someone who had absolutely no regrets.

"Oh, that? Simple."

He popped the can open.

"Fast money and a shortcut to starting my own company. Plus, their offer was insane."

"How insane?" Daniel asked.

"Six hundred million dollars."

Daniel nearly choked on air.

"S-six hundred million?! What the hell?!"

Allen laughed.

"Relax. Call it small-town luck."

Daniel shook his head.

"Unbelievable… You're seriously the kind of guy people hate for being too lucky."

Allen took a sip of his cola, unfazed.

"So, what about you? What're your plans after this?"

"Well, I'm applying to a few major companies," Daniel replied. "One of them's Umbrella. Heard they're hiring aggressively—especially in Raccoon City."

He paused, then added,

"Hey… isn't that your hometown?"

Allen nodded.

"Yeah. I'm actually heading back there."

He casually added,

"Oh, and I already bought a villa in the Arklay Mountains."

Daniel froze.

"A villa? In Arklay?"

He stared at Allen like he was looking at a movie star.

"Man… you're seriously on another level."

Allen just smiled, sipping his drink.

"I like nature. And it is my hometown. Quiet place, fresh air… perfect for enjoying life, right?"

Daniel laughed.

"Yeah, yeah. Alright, I'm heading out. See you around!"

"Later," Allen replied, waving lazily as Daniel walked off.

Allen turned and headed the opposite way.

Not far from there, several women were already waiting for him.

And judging by the smiles on their faces…

his quiet life was anything but quiet.

"Darling, what took you so long?" Aphrodite asked, her arms crossed as she half-pouted.

"Sorry," Allen replied casually, leaning in to give her a quick kiss on the lips. "I ended up chatting with one of my juniors from class."

"I see… well, fine then," she said, her expression softening. "Come on, the others are already waiting."

She slipped her arm around his, and together they walked toward the others. Soon, Allen joined the girls, and as a group, they left the university grounds behind.

...

Meanwhile… elsewhere.

A low hum filled the darkened room as a communication transmission echoed through the air.

"Ma'am, my apologies. It appears the target will be difficult to recruit into the team," a voice reported. "Awaiting your next instruction."

There was a brief pause.

"Abort the mission," a cold, unwavering female voice replied.

"You may return to the company. As for Allen… I'll handle him myself."

"…Understood, ma'am."

The communication link was severed.

Some time later—

Inside one of Umbrella Corporation's facilities in Europe, a woman stood behind a massive glass panel, silently observing the grey, overcast sky beyond it. Her expression was calm, sharp, and unreadable.

Footsteps echoed behind her.

"Mrs. Alex, this is the data on Allen Winters that you requested."

She glanced at the file only briefly before nodding.

"Good work, Stuart. You may leave."

With a respectful bow, the man replied, "Yes, ma'am," before exiting the room.

Once alone, Alex Wesker opened the document, her eyes calmly scanning each page.

Name: Allen Winters

Age: 18

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Chemistry

• Diploma in Mechanics

• Diploma in Biology

• Diploma in Computer Science

She turned the page.

Patents and Inventions:

• Telekinetic-based weapon

• Portable railgun

• Kinetic energy stabilization system

Alex paused, then let out a faint smile.

"So young… yet already this brilliant and talented," she murmured.

"…Interesting."

Her gaze sharpened behind the glass, calculating—

as if a plan had already begun to take shape.

...

Back to Allen's.

"Husband, you finally came," Raviel greeted him with a bright smile before planting a soft kiss on his lips.

"Sorry for making you all wait," Allen replied as he pulled out a chair and started ordering food. "So, where are the others?"

"Oh, they already left earlier. They said they'll be waiting for us at the apartment," Raviel answered casually.

"So… have you all decided where to go for the vacation? And don't forget to invite Jill and Athena. I miss them," Allen said.

"Of course, I already invited them," Raviel replied quickly, resting her chin on her hand while looking at Allen sweetly.

Allen gave a small smile. He had just sold some of his patents—not just for the money, but so he could buy vacation tickets for the women he loved, who had recently completed their grueling training in Delta Force.

Senator Ron Davis had agreed to the deal without much resistance—after all, the program was considered ineffective and was reportedly going to be shut down by the president soon.

That meant Jill would be unemployed for at least two years before being recruited into S.T.A.R.S in 1996, in line with the timeline of Resident Evil 0–3, which takes place in 1998.

"So, for this year's vacation, everyone agreed on traveling the world on a cruise," Raviel added, twirling her spoon playfully.

"Hmm, sounds like a good idea. Maybe next time I'll just buy the cruise ship outright," Allen joked with a smirk, mimicking Bruce Wayne's flair.

They continued their dinner leisurely, sharing quiet laughter and light conversation, before heading back to their apartment—ready to begin a long, unforgettable vacation.

Two weeks after his graduation, Allen was now sitting alone at John F. Kennedy International Airport, waiting for someone. Many eyes were discreetly glancing his way—especially the women. And who could blame them? Standing at around 6'2" with an athletic build—not from working out, since he never needed that in the first place—and a face far too handsome for a normal man, Allen practically had a natural charm that drew people in at first glance.

Many men looked at him with envy. In fact, it had been a recurring issue since high school. Back then, quite a few people had tried to bully him—but Allen always fought back. Most of those bullies ended up hanging upside down from trees.

Because of that, he was given the nickname "The Hangman".

Now, still seated calmly in the airport's waiting lounge, Allen suddenly heard two familiar voices calling out his name in unison.

"Allen…"

He quickly turned his head. "Hey… long time no see," he said with a wide smile, opening his arms to welcome them.

Without hesitation, the two women ran toward him, dropping their luggage along the way, and wrapped him in a tight embrace. Allen returned the hug warmly.

"I missed you both so much," he whispered sincerely.

"We missed you too, Allen," Jill replied with a smile.

"Yeah, I missed you too," Athena added, then suddenly kissed Allen on the lips right there in the middle of the crowd.

Jill, not wanting to be outdone, kissed him too—as if their rivalry from the unit had carried over into this moment. But Allen didn't mind. In fact, he loved their fiery dynamic—especially now that they could still get along in the same embrace.

At the very least, he was glad they wouldn't be fighting when he wanted them both in the same bed later tonight.

Meanwhile, the people around them could only watch in envy.

Some of them were even muttering under their breath "Seriously, flaunting your love like that in public…"

"God, why do people like this never get hit by a truck or something?" grumbled some heartbroken singles watching the display of affection.

Allen then brought them into the car he had prepared beforehand and drove them to one of his apartments located in New York.

At the moment, Allen owned several apartments in different cities, and coincidentally, their vacation plan this time was to depart from New York harbor on a cruise ship.

That's why they were all gathering here.

"So, how's your mom doing, Allen?" Jill asked as they were on the road.

"She's doing just fine… and of course, still as beautiful as ever," Allen replied with a relaxed smile.

Jill could only shake her head with a resigned expression. How could she not—Allen's mother still hadn't gotten married, despite so many men trying to approach her.

Honestly, Jill felt a bit uneasy if Allen and his mother's relationship ever developed into something more serious.

But in the end, she realized that opposing it would only damage her relationship with Allen. So all she could do was accept it and support him, as best as she could.

Throughout the ride, they chatted a lot about their time in the military—the training, the missions, and the fierce but hilarious rivalry between Jill and Athena while serving in the same unit.

Once they arrived at the apartment, Jill and Athena were warmly welcomed by the girls who had already arrived earlier—including Allen's mother.

Just like Allen said, she truly hadn't aged a bit and remained stunningly beautiful. Even Raviel and the other girls looked more gorgeous than ever after such a long time apart.

Especially Athena, who had always drawn attention in the military. She too was admired by many. But for some reason, Jill often felt more insecure compared to the others.

Fortunately, Allen always reassured her that she was just as beautiful as anyone else, and that was enough to restore her confidence.

"Hey… Jill, I missed you!" Raviel shouted as she hugged Jill tightly—their chests pressing together, making Jill's face immediately turn red.

"Yeah… I missed you too, Raviel," Jill replied with a slightly frustrated tone, especially when she unconsciously compared their body figures. Well, her other sisters like Aphrodite, Hera, and Persephone were still within tolerable comparison… but Raviel was always in a league of her own.

After that, Jill greeted the rest of the girls one by one until finally, Allen's mother appeared.

"Jill, how have you been? And… how's your mom? I heard you visited her before coming here," the woman asked warmly.

"She's doing well. She's living in Japan now with Dad," Jill answered with a smile.

"Oh… I'm glad to hear that," she replied while gently kissing Jill on the cheek.

Afterward, they all spent the evening chatting and watching movies together. That harmonious atmosphere lasted until nightfall, and they eventually went to rest.

...

Meanwhile—on the other side.

Alex Wesker's POV.

Inside a luxurious room lined with glowing monitors and classified intelligence files, Alex Wesker sat comfortably in her chair, her posture relaxed yet commanding. Several photographs were spread neatly across her desk.

All of them featured the same young man.

Allen Winters.

In every image, he was surrounded by beautiful women—laughing, walking close, utterly at ease among them.

Alex smirked.

"Well… a typical womanizer," she murmured. "And handsome, too. Far too handsome."

She picked up one of the photos, lazily twirling it between her fingers, her sharp eyes studying Allen's face with unmistakable interest.

"But that only makes things easier," she continued softly.

"I can use this weakness… to approach him. And recruit him."

Not long after, the door opened quietly.

Her loyal butler, Stuart, stepped inside and bowed respectfully.

"Mrs. Alex, according to our intelligence team's latest report, Allen and his women are planning to take a cruise vacation," he reported in a calm, professional tone.

Alex's eyebrow lifted slightly.

"Oh?"

"Yes. The name of the ship is Olimpus," Stuart continued. "However… are you certain you wish to book a ticket on the same vessel? The departure is in two days. I'm concerned it may interfere with your schedule."

A soft chuckle escaped her lips.

Rising from her seat, Alex walked toward the window, resting a hand lightly against the glass as she gazed down at the city below.

"It's fine," she said casually. "It's been quite a while since I allowed myself to relax."

She turned her head slightly, a sly smile forming on her lips.

"Consider this operation my personal vacation."

Stuart hesitated for a fraction of a second before bowing again.

"As you wish, Madam."

He exited the room to carry out her orders.

Once she was alone, Alex returned to the desk and picked up another photo.

Allen stood at the center, smiling calmly, surrounded by his beautiful companions—completely unaware.

Her smile slowly deepened.

"So… this is the man, He is indeed handsome." She said it as if she wanted to have a man like this and tie him up and lock him in a locker for herself.

"The one who can keep so many women by his side."

Her eyes gleamed with interest.

"…I look forward to meeting you, Allen Winter."
