My lips parted hers gently, tasting her, and heat burned at the base of my spine, surging upward through my entire body, like I had been parched for months in a desert and she was my cool, sweet water calming my raging thirst.
Hollering and cheers exploded around us but I could hardly hear it over the blood rushing through my ears.
