I blinked rapidly because I had to be hallucinating this stuff. My heart beat spiked when I saw the tracker was at my building!
Oh my god, oh my god, this was bad. Had he found out I planted the tracker? Was he looking for me? Was he going to kill me like he had killed Raymond?
"Good morning, Boss," the chorus of people greeting had my head whipping up.
I turned off my phone quickly, hugging it against my chest along with my laptop and notepad.
Anette and I weren't home at the moment, he wouldn't find us. But what if he came back? Or what if it was just coincidence that he was there?

We were standing before the opened elevator doors and there were four other people-two junior engineers, two women from HR with their arms full of folders. They parted letting Finnegan and I in until he stood against the elevator wall.
