Chapter 154 - Days in Paradise

Keifer's POV

The morning sun filtered through the curtains, painting the room in a warm, golden haze. The moment I opened my eyes, the very first thing I saw was my beautiful wifey, Jay Jay, already awake and staring intently down at me.

Her clear, remarkably bright eyes locked onto mine instantly. Given the relentless, unyielding way I had claimed every inch of her body last night after four grueling weeks apart, I had expected her to be completely broken. Yet, there she was, looking surprisingly refreshed, staring at me with a gaze full of pure devotion. Beautiful. Flawless. That overwhelming feeling of possessing her, of having her back where she belonged, settled deep and heavy in my chest.

"Morning, wifey," I murmured, my voice raspy from sleep. I tightened my grip on her waist, pulling her flush against my chest. "You look ready to run a marathon. And here I thought I completely ruined you last night."

She huffed, a beautiful flush creeping up her neck. "I am perfectly fine, Keifer. Now let me go. I've been waiting for hours to take that bath."

"Oh, you're fine?" A slow, knowing smirk tugged at my lips. I shifted, moving to block her exit from the bed. "Let's test that theory."

The moment she tried to sit up, a soft gasp escaped her lips. Her brow furrowed tightly as her muscles instantly protested from the long journey and the sheer excitement of our reunion.

She was trying so hard to hide it from me. I could see the subtle, desperate way she tried to mask her discomfort because she didn't want me to feel guilty or get angry at myself for being too rough with her. But she forgot one critical thing: I knew her better than she knew herself.

"See? Stubborn," I chuckled, effortlessly scooping her up into my arms. She yelped, wrapping her arms around my neck as I carried her into the bathroom. "You don't do anything without me today, marshmallow."

The warm water of the tub bubbled around her as I sat on a stool beside it, helping her wash. I took the sponge, gently scrubbing her shoulders, but I couldn't resist a bit of mischief, splashing a little water toward her nose.

"Stop it, Keifer," she complained, though she was smiling, her eyes darting away to hide another small wince as she shifted in the tub.

"I am helping," I whispered, my voice playful but my eyes tracking every movement. "I'm ensuring you're pampered.you should be enjoying your husband's undivided attention."

"You're a menace," she grumbled, splashing a bit of water back at my face.

I laughed, catching her wet hand and kissing her knuckles. "A menace who adores you. Now stay still, or I'll add even more bubbles."

After helping her out and making sure she was warm and dry, I carried her back to the bedroom. True to form, she immediately curled up on the bed, wrapping herself tightly in nothing but a soft, white silk sheet. She always preferred the freedom of the linens over heavy clothes when we were just relaxing at our sanctuary.

"Still avoiding the wardrobe, I see," I teased, sitting at the edge of the bed with a tray of warm food.

"I just like the sheets," she mumbled, her cheeks burning as she pulled the fabric up to her chin, trying to rearrange her legs without drawing my attention to the deep soreness.

"Open up," I commanded softly, bringing a bite of food to her lips. She tried to reach for it herself, but I pulled it back. "No. I'm looking after you today. You just relax."

She rolled her eyes but complied. Once she finished, I set the tray aside. I watched her closely as she settled back into the pillows, trying to force a bright, effortless grin. It was a complete lie. As I pulled the white silk sheet down slightly, my eyes narrowed.

Her skin bore the undeniable marks of my beautiful relentless love. Her belly was sensitive, and her navel was distinctly red from where my fullness had relentlessly pressed and ground against her core all night.

"Keifer, I'm okay, really," she whispered quickly, noticing my gaze and trying to pull the sheet back over herself so I wouldn't blame myself.

"You are not okay, Jay Jay," I said, my voice dropping into something incredibly low, firm, and thick with emotion. "Your muscles have literal knots in your thighs and legs from how hard I took you. Stop trying to hide it so I don't get mad at myself. I know my own strength, and I know exactly what I did to you."

"No, it's just a little ache—"

I ignored her half-hearted protests. I poured a bit of warming massage oil into my palms, rubbing them together until they were hot.

Gently but firmly, I slid my hands under the sheet, gripping her thighs. I pressed my thumbs into the tight knots cramping her legs, smoothing upward with steady, rhythmic strokes to dissolve the tension. She let out a shaky, helpless sigh, her fingers clutching the mattress. Even when she tried to wiggle away, blushing and claiming she didn't need the help, I stayed entirely focused on making her feel better.

Without pausing, I slid my hands higher, finding the soft, heavy curves of her breasts. I knew the friction from my heavy chest grinding against her all night had left them incredibly tender. Jay Jay gasped, her hands immediately flying up to clasp over mine.

"No, Keifer... stop, please," she whimpered softly, her cheeks burning a furious crimson. "Not there. I'm okay, really, it's too embarrassing..."

"No is not an option today, marshmallow," I commanded gently.

I kept my large, warm hands over her skin, massaging her sensitive breasts with slow, tender, circular motions. Jay Jay let out a breathless whine, her strength completely evaporating as she buried her face into my shoulder, her fingers twisting tightly into my shirt. The deep ache in her upper body slowly melted away under my touch.

"Shh. Let me take care of the aches," I murmured, watching the tension completely drain from her features. "See? Better?"

Once her legs and chest were relaxed, I reached for a different oil. I moved the sheet down just enough to expose her midriff, eyeing the faint redness around her navel with a sudden, wicked glint of trouble in my eyes.

"What is that look for?" she asked suspiciously, her voice trembling slightly.

"Just finishing the treatment," I smiled innocently, pouring a few drops of oil onto her stomach.

The moment my fingers touched her skin, I didn't just rub the oil into her red navel—I started to lightly tickle the highly sensitive sides of her waist. Jay Jay shrieked, her entire body arching as she burst into a fit of breathless, uncontrollable laughter.

"Ah! No! Stop it, Keifer! Please stop!" she squealed, twisting frantically under my hands, her face turning a bright, beautiful pink. "It tickles! Keifer, I swear, stop!"

"Only on one condition, marshmallow," I laughed, keeping my fingers moving just enough to keep her giggling and squirming against the pillows.

"What?! Anything, just stop!"

"Only if you let me take care of you the whole day, exactly as I want. No pretending you're fine, no hiding your pain, and no secrets from your hubby. Deal?" I demanded, raising an eyebrow.

"Okay! Okay, fine! Deal!" she gasped out, tears of pure laughter welling in her eyes.

I finally stopped, smoothing the oil gently across her soft belly one last time, soothing the redness before tucking the silk sheet back around her securely. I leaned down, pressing a deep, lingering kiss to her forehead.

"Good," I whispered against her skin. "Now just rest. Today, you belong entirely to me."

After two day's.

The next two days passed like a beautiful, hazy dream, completely cut off from the rest of the world. With the network down and our phones showing nothing but "No Service," there were no urgent business emails, no frantic calls, and absolutely no interruptions. It was just the two of us, exactly as it should be.

I walked out onto the private stretch of the seashore, the soft sand shifting beneath my boots. A few yards away, Jay Jay was sitting on a smooth rock right at the water's edge.

She was completely chilling, dressed in nothing but a fluffy white towel tucked tightly above her breasts, her damp hair catching the golden afternoon light. She looked breathtakingly relaxed, watching the gentle waves lap against her bare feet.

But as I stepped closer, I noticed the slight droop in her shoulders. The sadness radiating off her was palpable.

"Hey, marshmallow," I murmured, stepping up behind her and wrapping my large arms around her shoulders, pulling her back against my chest.

She leaned into my warmth immediately, letting out a heavy, melancholic sigh. "Keifer... I don't want to leave. Two days isn't enough. Can't we just stay here on the island forever? Just you and me."

My chest tightened at the raw vulnerability in her voice. I turned her gently in my arms so she was facing me, her small hands coming up to rest against my chest.

"I wish we could, wifey," I said softly, brushing a stray lock of hair behind her ear. "But we have to head back tomorrow."

"Why?" she pouted, her eyes pooling with sudden emotion as she gripped my shirt. "We don't even have a network here. No one can find us. I just want to stay with you for longer. I missed you too much for just a few days."

I caught her chin, lifting her face so she had to look at me. "Jay Jay, listen to me. I made a solemn promise to your brother before I brought you here. I gave him my word that the moment I knew you were completely safe and your body was recovered, I would bring you straight back home."

"But I am safe! I'm safest with you," she argued weakly, a stray tear slipping down her cheek.

"I know, marshmallow, and nothing makes me prouder than hearing you say that," I whispered, leaning down to press a tender kiss to the tip of her nose, then to her lips, soothing her heartache. "But your family is losing their minds worrying about you. Your brother trusted me enough to let me take you away so I could heal you and look after you. If I keep you hidden away forever, he'll think I kidnapped my own Wifey."

A small, breathless watery laugh escaped her lips, just like I wanted.

"See? There's that beautiful smile," I murmured, sliding my hands down to grip her waist, pulling her towel-clad body so close that the crashing waves barely sprayed between us. "We have to go back to reality, but it doesn't change anything. The moment we land, you are still mine. I'm not letting you out of my sight, Okay."

She sighed, resting her forehead against my collarbone, finally accepting it. "Fine. But you have to hold me just like this for the rest of the day."

"That," I growled softly, kissing the top of her head, "is a deal I will happily keep."
