Suzy's eyes uncontrollably lingered on him for a brief second.
His shoulders were broader than she had imagined, his collarbones sharply defined, and a faint, faded scar stretched across his chest as droplets of water slid smoothly down his skin.
She quickly jerked her gaze away, her ears flushing hot despite herself. It was her very first time seeing Adam wearing so little—in her memory, he had always dressed immaculately, covering up every inch of skin.
"I... scaled the wall to get in," Suzy answered honestly. "Your window wasn't shut tightly."
Adam stared at her in silence for two seconds, momentarily at a loss for words.
Taking the towel from his shoulder, he casually wiped his wet hair, his movements slow and unhurried.
"Do you have any idea where you are?" he asked.
Suzy nodded. "Of course I do. Your house."
