Reapers are individuals who awaken or summon a soul weapon a sentient artifact called "kotodama" that grants the user an ability they use their abilities to defeat " the fallen" and demons "the fallen" beings who come back graded by power
The power source reapers wield is called soul essence it is absorbed by being in a hell zone for too long ' by defeating the fallen, and eating the core of a demon
Natural reapers- awaken their own kotodama which grows with them
Inherent reapers- use an artifact used by someone in their bloodline kotodama suppresses the power of what can be used by a reaper to reapers' rank
With each new grade kotodama awakens a new ability that needs more soul essence to use than others
There are a few races in the reapers
Demonkin- when the soul of a fallen enters the body of a demon they become demonkin who may have demonic traits and abilities as they get stronger become natural reapers fast
Humans-the natural or inherited reapers who are just well human
Phantoms-when a fallen enters the corpse of a human a phantom is born the merger of souls gains abilities that fallen do and become reapers known for not allowing emotions to cloud their judgment
Angelkin- those who are reincarnations of angels they tend to be very kind and usually have light or healing kotodama
Grade 0 reaper-the weakest almost no different from an everyday joe except that it can damage awakened

Grade 12 reaper- only the reaper monarch has reached this rank and demon king restricts him
Grade 13- unique reapers in history 14 reapers reached this rank shaking up their eras
Light reaper- wielded a great sword called "Lysandra" founded helene clan of 4 great clans
Death reaper- wielded twin daggers called "hyoria" founded dermine clan of 4 great clans
Blood reaper- wielded a giant pole called "monia" found tryxine clan of 4 great clans
Phantom reaper-perhaps the strongest wielded a cloak called "sora" and founded the serenity clan of the 4 great clans

Transcendant- grade reapers are very rare individuals very few to have ever been born in history only 6 individuals have ever made it to this grade f
The false god- a man who wielded the power of creation and managed to save the world in the era of haunted
The false angel- a girl who was born in the first era of reapers who radiated so much power even the angels thought of her as divine
Demons are beings born in hell who clash with reapers as they want souls of the fallen to satiate their hunger

Angels also exist and are quite the strong individuals they exist to vanquish the evil known as the fallen and respect most races including demons
