Chapter 29 - Realm of forvegora.

Forvegora was not a place you entered.

It was a place that noticed you.

There was no sky—only a vast, bending expanse of fractured darkness, layered like shattered glass drifting in slow, eternal motion. Each fragment reflected a different version of reality: burning worlds, frozen battlefields, stars collapsing into themselves. None of them stayed still. They pulsed, as if breathing.

The ground did not exist in one form.

Sometimes it was obsidian-black stone veined with violet light.

Sometimes it dissolved into nothing, forcing reality itself to hold you in place. Gravity here was a suggestion, not a rule.

A low hum filled the realm—not sound, but pressure. The kind that pressed against the mind rather than the ears. Thoughts felt heavier in Forvegora, slower, as if the realm itself was reading them.

Massive serpentine symbols floated in the air, carved from void energy—ancient runes that constantly rewrote themselves. These were Malzareon's laws. Not written. Calculated.

Far in the distance, colossal structures rose and fell like waves: towers formed from compressed darkness, bending inward at impossible angles. Some were broken, as if struck by powers even this realm feared. Others were intact, untouched for ages, radiating quiet authority.

Shadows moved everywhere.

Not cast by anything.

Not following any light.

They slithered across surfaces, climbed the air, and peeled themselves off reality to form watchers—faceless void sentinels with glowing, hollow eyes. These were not soldiers. These were observers, recording, learning, adapting.

Time behaved strangely in Forvegora.

Moments stretched.

Centuries blinked by.

At the heart of the realm lay a vast abyss—an endless spiral descending into pure nothingness. Around it, reality was thinnest. Space folded in on itself, creating echoes of movement that hadn't happened yet… or already had.

This was where Malzareon listened.

Occasionally, the void reacted.

A ripple.

A tightening of space.

A pressure so immense that even the realm's shadows froze.

Something vast shifted beyond perception.

Not emerging.

Not revealing itself.

Just reminding the realm—and every connected world—that Forvegora had a ruler.

And that ruler was aware.

Back in the mortal realm, Fenrik felt it without knowing why.

A sudden chill ran through his spine.

The Wolf Slayer Axe vibrated once—low, warning, restrained.

Kaizen Ryu opened his eyes sharply, breath steady but heavy.

"Forvegora…" he said under his breath.

Somewhere beyond worlds, within a void that remembered every fear ever erased—

Malzareon waited.

As one moved deeper into Forvegora, the realm began to respond.

The drifting fragments of reality slowly aligned, forming vast corridors suspended in nothingness. These corridors were not built—they were decisions made by the void, guiding intruders where they were meant to go, not where they wished.

Light existed here, but it was wrong.

A dim, violet glow seeped from cracks in space itself, illuminating silhouettes that vanished the moment they were noticed. The glow pulsed in rhythm with something ancient, something vast, like the heartbeat of a sleeping god.

Every step felt watched.

Not by eyes—but by awareness.

Memories surfaced without permission. Regrets whispered themselves aloud. Fear did not arrive suddenly; it bloomed slowly, like poison spreading through thought. Forvegora did not attack the body first. It tested the mind, measuring resistance, cataloging weakness.

Floating above the abyss were massive rings of void-metal, each engraved with rotating sigils. These were Void Calculators, ancient constructs that analyzed every form of energy entering the realm. Magic, emotion, intent—nothing went unmeasured. Any power used here was instantly understood… and could be replicated.

This was why no invader ever truly surprised Malzareon.

The shadows thickened as the realm descended. They no longer merely watched—they trained. Some condensed into humanoid forms, others into serpentine shapes, all mimicking fragments of Malzareon's magic style. These were prototypes, incomplete echoes of a far greater force.

Occasionally, the void screamed.

Not loudly—silently.

Entire sections of space collapsed inward, erasing themselves and reforming elsewhere. These were not accidents. They were adjustments, corrections made by the realm when something deviated from Malzareon's design.

At the deepest visible layer of Forvegora, gravity ceased entirely.

Here, enormous chains of compressed darkness stretched across infinity, binding something unseen below the abyss. Each chain hummed with catastrophic power, reinforced by countless realms' worth of stolen energy. Whatever they held did not struggle.

It did not need to.

Above this abyss floated a throne-like structure, incomplete and ever-changing. It was never occupied—yet it radiated absolute dominance. This was not a seat meant for rest.

It was a concept.

Authority given form.

In distant realms, sages felt a sudden pressure in their chests. Ancient seals trembled. Forbidden texts rearranged their own words. The universe itself subtly shifted, as if acknowledging an inevitability long delayed.

Back in Creldoster, the Sage's staff cracked slightly for the first time in centuries.

"This realm…" he murmured, eyes dark.

"It does not conquer worlds. It prepares them."

Fenrik's dreams that night were filled with falling stars that turned into serpents mid-descent.

Taro Hyun woke with his hand gripping an invisible weapon, heart racing.

And far beyond sight, beyond time, within the void that remembered every battle ever lost—

Forvegora tightened.

Because something had changed.

The Wolf Slayer Axe had begun to resonate.

The Tiger Reaper Scythe had answered.

And Malzareon, the Void Serpent, had taken notice.
