The CEO's Encounter
Suddenly, everyone around went dead silent. Their mouths hung open like frogs in a well. Right then, that handsome psycho grabbed me by the neck and pinned me against the wall behind me. Pressing me against the wall, he yelled in a deep, bass voice, "How dare you! Do you have the guts to hit me?"
I looked at him and snapped back, "If you behave like a roadside rowdy, do you expect me to give you a grand welcome?"
He gripped my neck even tighter and shouted "You...!" at the top of his lungs. As I was struggling to breathe, he suddenly let go and walked away. I took a deep breath of relief. I thought to myself, He's a complete psycho. Whoever let him into this company is a total waste. I checked my watch—"Oh no, I'm late!" I rushed into the lift and went up to the 14th floor. That's the floor where the CEO's cabin and the employees' meeting hall are located. When the lift opened, I could hear voices from the meeting hall. Fearing the meeting had already started, I ran toward the hall.
Finally, I reached the door and was about to open it slowly. Suddenly, a booming male voice roared, "GET LOST, YOU LATECOMER!" I jumped in shock, and the files in my hand flew into the air, scattering papers all over the floor. While I stood there with my mouth wide open, staring at the ceiling in shock, the same deep voice yelled again, "CLOSE THE DOOR!" I shut the door instantly, scrambled to pick up the scattered papers, and bolted back to my workstation. I collapsed into my seat. After a while, the meeting ended and everyone started coming out. My friend Vini came up to me and asked:
"Hey Hasini, why didn't you come to the meeting? Do you know the CEO was asking where the Illustrator is?"
I replied, "I did go to the hall, but just as I was about to enter, some guy yelled 'Get lost, you latecomer' in a terrifying voice. That's why I came back."
Vini pointed her finger at me and asked, "So, was it you who tried to open the door?"
I lowered my head and whispered, "Yes."
"What happened? Why were you late?" she asked.
I told her angrily, "I arrived at the company on time, but I ran into a psycho on the way up." When she asked who it was, I explained everything that happened in the lift.
Vini was so shocked that she fainted in her chair. Panicked, I grabbed a water bottle and splashed some water on her face. "Vini! Vini! Wake up! What happened?"
She opened her eyes and stuttered, "Hasini... you... you..."
"I'm already frustrated, don't drag it out! Tell me what's wrong," I snapped.
She asked, "Don't tell me... you didn't actually hit our CEO, did you?"
My head spun, and this time, I collapsed into my seat in shock. Now it was Vini's turn to splash water on my face to wake me up. As the water hit my face, I came back to my senses and screamed, "VINI!"
Vini got scared and said, "Hey, don't scream! This is an office, not your house. And don't call me so lovingly," she joked, acting shy.
I grabbed her and shook her. "Where did I find a friend like you? It's a good thing you're my best friend, otherwise I would have..."
"Hasini! Let me go! Let me go!" she cried out. I let her go and sat back, sulking. Vini came over, folded her hands in a mock prayer, and said, "Oh Hasini Mother, I was just kidding! Why are you pouting?"
"What else do you expect? Me... hitting the CEO?!" I said, making a face.
"Hasini, I said sorry! Now smile, come on, you're my golden friend," she said and started tickling me until I laughed.
So friends now what will happen ? is hasini really scolded CEO or that person is just a normal person ? if that man is really CEO what is the situation of hasini ? will she shocked ? and gone permanently out of that company or say a sorry to him for escaping of her mistake ?
Where did that man go ?
I can't able to express the situation of hasini if that man is really CEO 😂
