Chapter 4 - Chapter 4- The First Big Move

Shen Moze woke to the hum of the city outside. Sunlight filtered through his apartment blinds, streaking dust motes across the room. Coffee in hand, he stared at his laptop, the numbers blinking on his screen.

The system had already analyzed the market overnight. Suggestions were waiting.

"Daily sign-in complete. Suggested trade: high-demand jade auction. Potential profit: ¥25,000–¥50,000. Points: +100. Option to upgrade Charm available."

He smirked. Not bad. Not bad at all.

TAI had one rule: play smart. Shen Moze loved rules he didn't have to make himself.

By mid-morning, he arrived at a small jade auction house. The streets were alive with businessmen, collectors, and a few curious tourists. The kind of place where someone like him would have once stuck out like a sore thumb.

Now? He strolled in casually, sunglasses on, leather jacket hanging perfectly, carrying an aura of effortless confidence.

"Number twelve," he said to the attendant. His voice carried calm authority, yet just enough charm to make people glance his way.

A young woman approached, clearly a bidder herself. "You here for the auction?" she asked, her tone polite but intrigued.

Shen Moze smiled faintly. "I prefer to think of it as… strategic investment."

Her eyebrows lifted. "Strategic, huh? Looks like you know your way around money."

Bam. Charm points ticking silently in the background. He chuckled inwardly.

The auction began. Shen Moze followed TAI's guidance, placing precise bids on a small lot of rare jade pieces.

"Trade executed. Profit projected: ¥32,000 in three days. Points +120."

He didn't gloat. He just nodded politely, sipping coffee as other bidders fumed at losing to a quiet newcomer.

Across the room, the young bidder glanced at him again, curiosity bright in her eyes. Shen Moze caught it, offered a faint grin, and turned back to the auction. A small, controlled flirtation. Nothing overt. But enough.

Tang Yuxin would have a field day seeing this, he thought. And she's not even here yet.

By evening, Shen Moze had signed in again. The system had delivered more than just cash this time:

"Reward package delivered: Qinglong Manor key, vehicle registration for Jinhai GT. Daily bonus: ¥100,000. Points +200. Optional Charm upgrade available."

He stared at the notifications, letting the magnitude sink in. A villa. A sports car. And money—enough to make his old taxi days feel like a bad dream.

"TAI, are you trying to spoil me?" he asked aloud.

"Observation: Host sarcasm detected. Fun bonus applied."

He chuckled. Good. Keep the attitude, TAI. I like it.

By nightfall, Shen Moze was driving his new GT along the city streets. The hum of the engine was addictive. He imagined old classmates, street vendors, anyone who had ever looked down on him—seeing him like this.

And of course, somewhere on social media, Tang Yuxin had already noticed. A post with a vague, bitter tone about "throwing away someone who cared."

She'll see the villa soon. The car. The trades. And she'll stew. Slowly. Properly.

He stopped by a trendy café, sipping coffee and watching the world move around him. A young woman at the next table dropped her pen, fumbling. Shen Moze leaned over, handed it back with a polite smile.

"Thanks," she said, a little flustered.

"No problem," he replied casually.

A small thing. But enough to send Charm points ticking up quietly in the background.

Tang Yuxin would be fuming if she saw this, he thought. And the best part? I don't even care.

By night, he had reviewed the day.

• Jade trades executed flawlessly

• Villa and car received

• Social interactions expanding naturally

• Points steadily rising for upgrades

He poured a cup of coffee, leaning back in Qinglong Manor, overlooking the city skyline. The lights reflected off the river like glittering gold.

The taxi driver inside him had vanished.

The tycoon-to-be had officially arrived.
