Chapter 59 - Chapter 59 - Words without Blades

The training garden behind the mansion was quiet.

White flowers moved slowly under the evening wind.

Hazel stood near the fountain.

Thinking.

Mila approached slowly from behind.

Hazel did not turn immediately.

She already recognized the presence.

"Mila," Hazel said calmly.

"Yes," Mila answered.

Silence followed.

The fountain water kept flowing softly.

Mila walked closer.

Not aggressively.

But intentionally.

"I watched you during training," Mila said.

Hazel nodded slightly.

"Thank you."

Mila tilted her head.

"You are changing."

"Yes."

Silence.

Then Mila spoke directly.

"You are becoming stronger."

Hazel did not deny it.

"Yes."

Mila continued.

"And Alpha Ryan is becoming more… attached."

Hazel's expression remained calm.

Mila's voice lowered slightly.

"Do you love him?"

The question was direct.

Hazel did not answer immediately.

Because she was learning something important inside pack politics:

Emotional honesty is power.

After a moment, Hazel said quietly:

"I am learning what love means."

Mila watched her carefully.

"You are not afraid of losing him?"

Hazel shook her head slowly.

"No."

Pause.

Then Hazel said something very clear.

"I trust his choice."

Mila frowned slightly.

"Confidence again."

Hazel smiled faintly.

"Yes."

Silence followed.

Mila spoke quietly.

"I wanted to be Alpha mate."

Hazel answered calmly.

"You are allowed to want it."

Mila's eyes sharpened slightly.

"But I will not leave Ryan because of competition."

Pause.

Then Hazel said very softly but firmly:

"I will not fight you for him."

"But I will not abandon him either."

The wind moved gently.

Pack territory life continued normally outside.

Mila spoke quietly.

"You are dangerous."

Hazel asked:

"Why?"

Mila answered honestly.

"Because you are not aggressive."

Pause.

"People underestimate quiet strength."

Hazel did not respond.

Then Mila said one last thing.

"If Alpha Ryan chooses you fully…"

She paused.

"Then I will accept it."

Hazel nodded slightly.

"Thank you."

Mila turned and walked away.

Inside the mansion balcony above—

Ryan watched silently.

Venom stirred slightly.

Not aggressive.

Satisfied.

Because Hazel had handled pack political pressure without violence.

Nick whispered quietly beside him:

"She is learning leadership."

Ryan answered softly:

"Yes."
