Luna stared at him, her mouth falling open. Yet no words came out. She only saw him gesture toward the pack house. "Now, please, this way," Lucien said, as if they would get lost in the pack without his guidance.
Luna, still listening to the man and worried about her aunt, turned to look at her before walking apprehensively to where her aunt stood, who still seemed to be dazed.
Was her aunt this worried about her meeting the Lycan king, or what? Luna wondered.
As they continued further inside the pack house, the omegas who worked for the Alpha watched the Harristone family as they made their way in. Luna ignored their stares and the low whispers that followed them.
Out of everything Luna feared and was concerned about, it was the possibility of mistakenly stumbling upon Alpha Magnus after what had happened in the corridor with her, the Lycan king, and the Alpha.
