My thoughts were all over the place.
With a woman like Elena back, I could already tell that life wasn't about to become any better for me.
Serenya had made it pretty clear that she didn't like me as the Luna. Now think how that will play out when the woman that everyone wanted Alpha Kade to crown as Luna, has suddenly come back.
I'm not one to stir the pot, but I know that it wasn't going to take long for someone to stir mine.
On top of that, Beta Cassian told me that if I'm to be the neck of the pack, I needed to step into that position like I owned it.
Well, those are not his exact words, but you get the message.
"Let's go." I say to Amy and start walking to the door.
"Where are we going to?" She asks me as I stand by the door.
"We are going to welcome our guest." I answer her.
I'm not really in the mood for a back and forth with her, because I already know what she will tell me.
It's exactly what I would tell her if the roles were reversed.
