Part Two
In a strange place,
there was something moving.
It was not a ghost. It was something that seemed as though no one could see it.
It wandered through a destroyed city until it saw a gigantic palace standing atop a mountain.
It felt as though this was not the first time it had seen this place.
It went toward it,
only to see someone who looked like itself.
Someone with golden horns and black hair.
Kaith was sitting on the walls of the royal palace, with an expression of deep disappointment on his face.
Kaith turned toward the strange creature and said:
Kaith: "I lost again… as usual."
The creature became confused,
until it was pierced by someone whose presence it had never expected.
Alia: "I'm always with you, Kaith. Even if the kingdom is destroyed, we'll rebuild it once… and twice."
The place distorted,
and everything changed as if the scene had been transported somewhere else.
It was at the Tree of Destiny.
And then we discovered that the strange creature was Kaith himself.
Kaith: "What the hell is this nonsense?! How can Alia be here when she went to another world?"
Destiny: "First, this is not nonsense. Second, who said I was showing you your future? And third… I haven't finished yet."
The scene changed,
and we were transported to a battlefield.
But this time, it was not a battle against Arlin.
It was a battle against the Fourth and Fifth Shards.
Kaith (the observer): "What is happening here?"
Kaith and Alia were fighting the Shards until—
The Fourth Shard was killed by Kaith,
and the Fifth Shard was defeated by Alia.
But then…
The entire place was filled with the sound of evil laughter.
Suddenly, an arm emerged from a strange portal and pierced Alia's heart.
Kaith (the observer): "What the hell is this?!"
Kaith rushed toward Alia's body as it began to disintegrate into dust,
the same way the Shards disintegrated.
Alia: "I'm sorry, Kaith… maybe… maybe I should have told you that I was the Sixth Shard before this momen—"
Alia's head turned to dust,
until she completely disappeared.
Kaith began to lose control.
And then…
The External Ruler appeared.
Before he could even begin speaking,
Kaith charged toward him.
He struck him with tremendous force, wanting to erase him from existence.
After Kaith regained his footing,
he turned around—
only to find the External Ruler standing behind him, waiting for him.
Arliox began laughing at him.
Arliox: "Isn't it amusing to see that angry face of yours?"
Then an aura appeared—
an aura Arliox had never expected.
The Aura of Nothingness.
And its source…
was Kaith.
Kaith (the observer): "Wait… I don't possess this power?!"
Arliox: "…"
Kaith charged toward him and cursed him with the power and authority of the Void, combined with black flames,
leaving him burning within the Abyss for all eternity.
The scene evaporated,
and Kaith returned to the Tree of Destiny.
Kaith: "What am I seeing now?!"
Destiny: "Something you need to know."
Kaith: "And what is it?!"
Destiny: "You will discover whose past you were seeing… and why I am making you witness it after this vision."
The scene shifted once again…
to—
A battlefield between the Kingdom of Ars and the Kingdom of Arlin.
Kaith (the observer): "This is the war we're fighting right now."
But he was shocked when he saw a single scene.
The body of Reinhardt—
with the Dragon Blade, Azthiron, piercing through his heart.
And the one holding the blade…
was Kaith.
Silence filled the place.
Before the scene evaporated,
and Kaith returned to the Tree of Existence.
Kaith: "You're lying! This is impossible!"
Destiny: "Why would I frighten you if I intended to lie to you?! What you just saw was only a few moments from Reinhardt's life… or, I could say, you are now seeing the future that has been changed."
Silence filled the place,
while Kaith remained frozen in shock.
Destiny continued:
Destiny: "What I want from you is to prevent the final vision from happening… and prevent Reinhardt's death. Or, I should say… Kaith Azthiron's death."
"And now… your time is up."
Kaith awakens in the middle of the battle between Reinhardt and Erlic.
