Chapter 56 - "God-Slayer’s Wrath: All Realms Tremble."

-----

-----

In an instant, the shattered armor on Seiya's right arm began to rebuild itself before everyone's eyes.

The Cosmo of Shiryu, Hyoga, Shun, Ikki… and even Athena herself, Saori—every last drop of their power—poured into Seiya's right fist.

At that moment, fragments of four different Cloths, each carrying a distinct Cosmo signature, materialized around his arm.

They fused together in a miracle of light.

A terrifying surge of Cosmo erupted outward, shaking the air so violently it felt as if space itself might split apart.

"Break apart for me!!!"

Seiya roared, eyes blazing. Behind him, the colossal phantom of the Pegasus Cloth rose into the sky.

Cosmo detonated from his body in a blinding shockwave. Blue-violet lightning coiled around him, slamming into the earth below. The air twisted into a raging storm of destructive energy, swept up by his berserk Cosmo.

"How… that's impossible!"

Saga's mind shattered at the sight. His prideful Galaxian Explosion was suddenly forced backward, rebounding toward him at even greater speed.

"No!!!"

His scream was swallowed by a cataclysmic blast.

The Pope's Palace was obliterated. The shockwave spread like a tidal wave, flattening everything in its path. Even Shiryu and the others, guarding Athena at the perimeter, were hurled dozens of meters away.

Elsewhere, the Gold Saints finally destroyed the massive statue of Anubis.

But just as they thought it was over, horror gripped them.

The shattered remains of the Anubis statue began rising into the sky, defying gravity.

Not just that—ruins, stones, debris from across Sanctuary all trembled and lifted upward, as if some monstrous black hole above the heavens was devouring everything below.

A tortured roar echoed from the wreckage of the Pope's Palace.

Saga.

The rising debris suddenly reversed direction, spiraling violently around the palace ruins. Then, like a meteor shower, it crashed back down toward the center.

Thunder split the sky.

One bolt. Then another. Then dozens.

Within seconds, all of Sanctuary became a domain of lightning. Purple thunder tore through the heavens, forcing every Saint to scatter desperately.

Then—

Silence.

Saga's screams cut off.

An orange-red pillar of light shot upward.

The "Convergence Array," packed with Athena's vast Cosmo, had detonated.

The beam pierced the clouds, triggering a second explosion miles above. The sky ignited like a furnace. Flames spread outward from the epicenter in a roaring tide.

It looked like a gate to hell slowly opening in the heavens.

The sky turned pitch black under the scorching blaze, yet the fire refused to die, continuing to devour everything in its reach.

"What the hell is happening?!"

Aldebaran of Taurus stared upward in shock. Sanctuary had lost all its sacred solemnity. It had become a living hell.

Despair. Charred air. The stench of death.

It felt like demons from the abyss were whispering.

Burning meteors rained down upon the shattered Sanctuary, exploding one after another as if hell's legions had arrived to claim souls.

Seiya lay barely conscious atop a floating slab of stone. He tried to rise, but every nerve in his body screamed in protest.

His Pegasus Cloth was in ruins, fragments scattered across the battlefield.

Smoke churned through the wreckage. Lightning still crackled within it.

And then—

A presence.

An overwhelming, suffocating pressure rolled outward like an invisible mountain, pinning down Shiryu, Hyoga, Shun, Ikki, and the six surviving Gold Saints.

Deep within the smoke, something massive stirred.

Its outline swelled, shifting, growing clearer.

More grotesque.

A soul-shaking roar erupted.

The smoke was blasted away by the sheer force of the sound.

And the monster revealed itself.

This was Saga's ultimate, trembling form.

He had fused with the Anubis statue, with the very rubble of Sanctuary itself, transforming into a demonic descendant of Typhon—the ultimate hellhound.

Its upper body was a colossal demon wielding twin blades. Its lower half consisted of three hideous heads. A massive serpentine tail lashed behind it, wrapped in countless venomous snakes.

The gigantic serpent-fiend: Cerberus.

It descended like hell incarnate.

"What… is that thing?!"

Mu of Aries stood frozen, horror flooding his eyes. He had never imagined such an abomination could be born upon sacred ground.

A chilling, mocking laugh echoed from Cerberus' chest. Then came Saga's twisted voice, hoarse with hatred.

"At this moment… I ascend the throne of gods. I am a being beyond divinity."

Before he finished speaking, the central head beneath his torso split open.

Inside its abyssal maw, destructive Cosmo condensed—a blue light as if millions of stars had been compressed into a single point.

An unbearable pressure radiated outward like a living black hole.

This wasn't paralysis from fear.

It was suppression.

A force beyond the laws of the world bound every Saint in place. Even Shaka of Virgo, closest to godhood among them, couldn't move an inch.

The monstrous head was fully charged with an ultimate Cosmo capable of obliterating a universe.

Then—

The blue annihilation beam fired.

It tore through space with a shriek, aimed directly at Athena and the four Bronze Saints beside her.

"No!!!!"

A roar of fury shook the heavens.

A streak of red light flickered erratically across the sky. It was pure, unyielding fighting spirit.

At the final instant—

A golden divine radiance split the heavens, breaking through the infernal sky and striking the red figure midair.

With a piercing battle cry, red will and golden godlight fused into a blazing red-gold comet.

Its speed multiplied severalfold.

It hurled itself straight at the incoming blue beam.

The deathly breath of Cerberus was unstoppable, dragging lightning in its wake. Anything it touched vanished in less than a microsecond.

Even across worlds, the pressure felt as though it pierced straight into the soul of anyone watching.

The Super God Universe

Inside the flagship of the Angel civilization, killing intent hung thick in the air.

A low hum vibrated through the chamber.

Angel Yan instinctively tensed, entering full defensive posture. Even for a future queen who had survived countless battles, the blue breath carried a pressure that chilled her to the core.

"What… what level of monster is that?!"

Angel Leng's eyes widened in disbelief. Her limbs trembled uncontrollably.

She was certain—absolutely certain—that the blue beam posed a lethal threat even to her fourth-generation divine body.

How was that possible?

How could a mere "monster" trigger a death warning in an angel warrior?

Did it possess true god-slaying power?

Yan's heart pounded. Her previous arrogance vanished completely. Even she would need maximum calculation power and flawless response to survive such an attack.

A single mistake meant catastrophic damage.

And at this level, catastrophic damage was no different from death.

What troubled her even more were the Saints themselves.

She had seen Saitama fight Boros in another recording. Boros' combat physiology was monstrous.

But these Saints?

Weren't they supposed to be fragile humans?

Then why did they possess such outrageous regeneration?

She had personally witnessed Seiya's right arm burned black by the Galaxian Explosion.

And now—

Her analysis core trembled.

His wounds had completely healed in mere moments.

This overturned everything the Shenhe civilization believed about lower lifeforms.

Had their life essence reached parity with fourth-generation divine bodies?

They were just carbon-based beings!

"Angel Leng! Activate highest clearance. Lock onto their coordinates immediately. Find out where these Saints are located in the universe.

They fight for justice. If possible, send them an invitation. Bring them into the Angel Legion."

Yan's sharp mind immediately grasped the strategic value.

On the surface, they were simply protecting a "weak girl."

But protecting the weak—wasn't that the highest form of justice?

If the Angel Legion could recruit warriors with such strength and moral conviction, the crusade to purge the demons and cleanse the universe would accelerate exponentially.

The World of One Punch Man

Inside the top conference chamber of the Hero Association, the S-Class heroes had not left after the previous video ended. They were discussing contingency plans in case Boros ever arrived on Earth.

So when the new footage played, they all witnessed the apocalyptic scene.

When Cerberus unleashed its annihilating blue breath, the strongest reaction came from Tornado of Terror.

Psychic barriers several layers thick burst into existence around her, counteracting the lethal pressure bleeding from the screen.

Flashy Flash stared in shock, mouth hanging open so wide it looked like his jaw might truly dislocate this time.

And then there was King—the S-Class "symbol," revered as the strongest man on Earth.

Curled up in his chair, trembling violently.

Thud. Thud. Thud.

His heartbeat pounded like a drum of doom.

In the deathly silent room, the unmistakable roar of the "King Engine" echoed loud and clear.

"....."
