I wiped the last of my tears and forced myself to look at Logan straight in the eyes. My chest still felt tight from crying, but I steadied my breathing and took a deep breath before speaking.
There were things I needed to tell him.
Not everything.
But enough.
"Isaac didn't just leave me the building," I said quietly. "He left me all his shares in Larson Incorporated, too."
I paused after saying it, watching Logan carefully.
Just like I expected, confusion and surprise immediately crossed his face. His brows pulled together as if he was trying to process what he had just heard.
Only Yejin and Hanna knew the full truth about what happened before and after the fire that took Isaac from me. They were the only ones who had seen the darkest parts of those years.
The secret about the money was something I could tell Logan now. It was no longer something hidden anyway. Isaac's legal team knew about it, his family knew, and the board members of the company knew as well.
