"How's everything?" I asked the moment I stepped inside the pet shop.
"All orders have been delivered, shelves restocked, and your canned food section finally looks less chaotic," Yejin replied, scanning the counter before looking at me with that knowing glint in her eyes. "How did your meeting with Jiho go?"
"It went well," I said, slipping my bag behind the counter. "I brought Micah with me so he could observe. There were too many customers earlier. If he keeps handling both manager duties and baking, he's going to collapse. I'll need to hire an assistant manager soon."
Yejin hummed thoughtfully. "Have you thought of selling online? For both shops?"
"I have," I admitted. "But the monthly membership fees for delivery apps? We're barely breaking even as it is."
She didn't argue. Instead, she handed me her phone. "Look at the comments."
I leaned in. The pet shop's social media page was flooded with messages that I had ignored for too long.
