That was the last clear thing Sora said before her lips crashed into mine.
My brain stalled completely. Like someone yanked the plug on my common sense.
She's drunk, and I'm not exactly sober either. This is a terrible idea. A really bad one.
And yet the moment her hand slid up to my collar, my body forgot every rule I'd written for myself.
I don't want to take advantage of her, but damn, I'm hard, and it's been like this ever since I saw her smile on the rooftop earlier. This… This is really hard for me.
Heavens have mercy!
I shouldn't have kissed her back.
I did anyway.
When she finally pulled away, her forehead rested against mine. My hands hovered uselessly at my sides, afraid that if I touched her, I wouldn't stop.
"That," she murmured, voice low and satisfied, "is different."
I swallowed hard, totally speechless.
Because... Yeah. It was.
I pulled back just enough to breathe. I was suffocating by myself. "Sora—"
