[IRIS POV]
Yvette let out a gasp of disbelief, her eyes theatrically wide as she pointed at herself.
"Healer Felix, are you crazy? How could I possibly be responsible?!" She squawked, stepping back. She grabbed Caius by the hand, tugging at it anxiously. "Caius, my dear, surely you cannot believe this…"
Caius shrugged his hand from her grip, but he also looked at Healer Felix suspiciously. "Do you have any proof? Did the security cameras catch anything?"
"Funny you should ask that." Healer Felix's lips curled derisively. "It just so happens that someone had sabotaged my security cameras just before Martin's condition took a turn for the worse."
Caius's face turned grave with worry, while a triumphant glint appeared in Yvette's eyes.
"See," she said, "so you have no proof it was me! How dare you slander me like this, Healer Felix? I assure you, my father will hear about this! Caius, you heard it for yourself. I'm innocent!"
