Chapter 2 - MORNING AFTER

 ' Diing!'

' Diing! '

'ZZZ ZZZ ZZZ'

'Diing!'

'Urghh1 who's blowing my phone at this time!,' Mishy whimpered. 'ZZZ ZZZ ,' her phone buzzed again. Still lying on her belly, she stretched her left hand trying to reach for her phone but failed to find it.

'Diing!', another incoming message after she had given up on it. The sunlight streamed through the curtains, not as a gentle wake-up call, but as a laser-sharp interrogation. The distant sound of vehicles hooting felt like a sharp crack in the peaceful, and yet annoying, morning air. Her eyes were not just too tight in her head but they must have rolled out in the night and been reattached with roofing nails. Through all that struggle, she finally managed to sit upright and get hold of her phone. Rubbing her forehead down through her eyes, she swiped it open to see who was calling her. Her eyes squeezed due to the phone's brightness, she rubbed them once more. On reading the message her eyes popped wide open. Aggressively she bit her thumbnail.

 '-O_mar ' she mumbled

'Mmm,' a voice groaned next to her. She immediately turned her head. Then back to herself. 'My head hurts,' as he pulled himself out of the warm duvet. He sat at an angle, that made his masculine body irresistible. His broad chest, those biceps and strong muscles, damn. Quite the site.

'Filly,' she began 'For hell's sake tell me we didn't,' she swallowed dry bitter saliva almost choking her. He just stared.

 'Why are yo-u-?' she stammered

 'What!' he interjected

Eyes closed, she took a deep loud breathe to calm herself. She got out of the bed.

'You know what, you're going to leave this place (using his hands as if he's quarelling a child) and we act like nothing happened. Where are your clothes? (pacing around ) No!no! this is a mistake (rubbing her hair in disbelief) This should never have happened, especially now that Omar is back,' she trembled as she took the chair.

'Can you calm down,' he muttered

'Mhh!' she scoffed with eyes wide open

'Is it that bad if_' 'Bad is an understatement,' she interjected

With a frown and mouth wide open "Why would you say that?" he inquired.

Eyes wide open and raised eyebrows 'Because Omar is back,' Raising her hands up to her head.

Who's that ?

My boyfriend

'Mhh!' you don't have that one,' he giggled

'Clearly you don't know a thing about me,' raising her voice, her eyes fixated on him. 'You know what ,' she said standing up 'grab your clothes and show yourself out.'

'But _' he tried to explain himself.

'Now!' she ordered. Walking out on him not ready to hear one more word from him.

Later that evening she went to Filly's pub.

'I have a favor to put in' She remarked once she got there. The time on the wall across the shiny bottles where Filly stood was a quarter to Seven O'clock. He kept drying the glasses, not giving much attention to her as usual.

'Considering the fact that you kicked me out of your house, asking for favors is quite a shameless move.'

Shrugging as she reached for the stool ' Well, you can't shame the shameless.' He immediately paused , stared for three seconds 'What?' rolling her eyes she asked upon realizing that he was staring. 'Nothing,' he replied and kept on wiping the glasses.

After a few seconds he asked 'So how can I help the shameless?' Her eyes were fixated on her phone and upon the question she raised her eyes her head however still bent. 'Did you just call me shameless?"

' Your words not mine,' he remarked

Scoffing 'True, I mean we can't dispute facts, can we? Mockingly. 'Anyways I am here because Omar- he looked at her on the mention of that name ' I can't help,' he interjected

'Can you listen first- she pleaded

 No I can't' she insisted

With furrowed brows she slammed the counter ' I don't have time for this ,' she yelled and walked out proudly. After what seemed like five seconds she came back in.

'You forgot something? Perhaps your phone? Or maybe purse? He mocked her

Sighing out loudly as she placed the very items that he mentioned on the counter. 'I'm sorry for my behavior in the morning,' she began ' I should have given you a chance to explain yourself. That will never repeat itself ,' she assured him.

There was his smile but he was trying to hide it, yet terribly failed 'It wasn't that difficult. Table your favors now?" She smiled brightly after winning him back
