Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: The Twins

Luna Belle stared at the ceiling. After arriving in another world, she was actually sleeping sandwiched between two beautiful girls with completely different styles... If she told this to her older female cousin, who was a hardcore Yuri fan, wouldn't she be green with envy?

At the thought of this, Luna Belle sighed. She wondered what kind of expression her brother would make upon hearing the news that she had been blown away by an explosion. As her thoughts drifted, she lay on the soft, warm bed, surrounded by two comforting scents. Eventually, a wave of intense fatigue washed over her like a tide. The stiffness in her body gradually relaxed, and her heartbeat slowly steadied. The faint sweet fragrance on Ellen's body seemed to possess a hypnotic magic, and Alice's steady breathing sounded like a lullaby.

Luna Belle's consciousness gradually blurred. She took one last look at the bright moonlight filtering through the gap in the curtains before slowly closing her eyes. In her drowsy state, she felt Alice on her right move slightly, and then an arm was gently draped over her waist. Ellen, on her left, unconsciously rolled over in her sleep, pressing closer to her. Her Thiren tail followed suit, curling around and resting on Luna Belle's calf...

The night passed in silence. The next morning, soft sunlight peeked through the gap in the curtains, casting warm spots of light on the room's floor. Luna Belle woke up slowly, enveloped in an extremely warm and fulfilling sensation. She opened her eyes blearily, and the first thing she saw was the ceiling of the inn. She instinctively tried to move, only to find her body significantly restricted.

Turning her head slightly, she first saw Ellen's sleeping face right before her eyes. Black hair was scattered messily across the pillow. Those red eyes, usually filled with weariness, were now quietly closed, and her long, thick eyelashes cast faint shadows beneath them. She seemed to be sleeping very deeply. One arm was draped casually across Luna Belle's waist, and more than half of that heavy shark tail was pressing down on her calf, conveying a warm and soft touch.

Luna Belle carefully turned her head to look at the other side. Alice was facing her, still maintaining an elegant sleeping posture. Her golden twin-tails had been untied and were spread smoothly across the pillow, as dazzling as flowing honey. Her fair cheeks looked exceptionally soft in the morning light. Her beautiful heterochromatic eyes were hidden by her eyelids, adding a touch of tranquility. One of her arms was also gently wrapped around Luna Belle's waist, forming an unconscious "encirclement" with Ellen's arm.

Luna Belle felt as if she were being held firmly in the center of the bed by two large body pillows of completely different styles. She tried to gently move her pinned leg, but Ellen's tail only rubbed against her unconsciously without any intention of moving away. She then tried to lift Alice's arm, but the latter seemed to sense something in her sleep. Instead, she tightened her arm, hugging her even closer, and let out a very soft mumble.

"...Symmetry..."

Luna Belle was instantly caught between laughter and tears. She looked at the ceiling, feeling the warmth and softness coming from both sides of her body, and her cheeks couldn't help but start to heat up again. Is this some kind of happy trouble? she complained silently to herself. After struggling for a moment and finding it futile, Luna Belle simply gave up and lay there obediently, enjoying this rare lazy and warm morning time.

As the sunlight outside grew brighter and the faint sounds of bustle began to drift in from the street, she felt the pressure on her body loosen slightly. Ellen was the first to make a slight movement. Her long eyelashes fluttered a few times before she slowly opened her red eyes. The confusion of just waking up lasted only an instant before she met Luna Belle's somewhat helpless yet smiling gaze.

"Morning, Ellen." Luna Belle said in a small voice.

Ellen blinked, seemingly just realizing she was holding Belle and that her tail was resting on her. There was no particular expression on her face. She just gave a lazy yawn, then naturally retracted both her arm and tail, rolled over, and mumbled indistinctly. "...Morning."

Her movement disturbed Alice on the other side. Alice frowned slightly, and her heterochromatic eyes slowly opened. After a brief moment of being out of focus, they quickly regained their clarity. She looked at Luna Belle in front of her, then looked down at her arm wrapped around Luna Belle's waist, and a very faint blush instantly rushed to her face.

She sat up quickly but still elegantly, gently straightening her slightly wrinkled collar. On the display screen at her waist, emoticons switched rapidly before finally settling on a (•̀⌄•́) that was trying hard to maintain composure.

"Good morning, Belle." Alice's voice carried a hint of raspiness from just waking up. She cleared her throat and asked, "Did you rest well last night?"

Luna Belle was finally liberated. She sat up and stretched her somewhat numb limbs, responding with a smile. "Good morning, Alice. Aside from being a bit cramped, I slept quite soundly."

Upon hearing this, the expression on Alice's display instantly turned into a slightly apologetic (´・ω・`). She said softly, "My apologies. It was a lack of consideration on my part to occupy so much space."

"It's fine, it's fine. I thought it was quite warm." Luna Belle waved her hands hurriedly, fearing that this young lady who pursued symmetry and perfection would come up with some new plan to adjust their sleeping positions.

The three of them got up one after another. After a quick wash, they prepared to head to the Adventurers Guild to collect the reward for this commission. Stepping out of the Silver Oak Inn, White Thorn City had already awakened in the early morning. People were coming and going on the streets, vendors were shouting, and the air was filled with the aroma of freshly baked bread and the fresh scent of vegetation. Sunlight spilled onto the cobblestone road, and everything was full of life.

Arriving at the Adventurers Guild located in the central plaza, the flow of people in front of the grand stone building was as constant as ever. However, today, by the guild's main entrance, a familiar yet somewhat strange figure caught Luna Belle's eye.

It was a young girl wearing a black and white maid outfit, with short silver hair that was neat and tidy, standing there with a straight posture. Her appearance was almost identical to Sayu's—the same exquisite features and the same clear violet eyes. But her stance lacked the sense of secrecy Sayu had when blending into the shadows, and instead had more of the liveliness belonging to a young girl.

Luna Belle froze for a moment, instinctively thinking it was Sayu. She stepped forward quickly and greeted her with a smile. "Good morning, Miss Sayu! Why are you here... and why the change of clothes?"

Hearing the voice, the "maid" turned around, a flash of obvious confusion crossing her violet eyes. She looked at Luna Belle, then at Ellen and Alice behind her, a thoughtful expression appearing on her face. Then, as if suddenly remembering something, she gently lifted both sides of her maid skirt, performed a slight curtsy in a standard maid's salute, and said softly:

"You must be Lord Belle, right? It is a pleasure to meet you. I am Fusheng Ruoyu, and Sayu is my elder sister. Elder sister mentioned you to me before. I am very glad to meet you."
