When school let out in the afternoon, Shi Yubai, for the first time ever, didn't have Xu Shengxia come find him. Instead, he walked over to Xu Shengxia's desk to get her.
"Let's go home." Shi Yubai had the cuffs of his school uniform shirt rolled up, revealing his well-defined, sturdy arms.
Xu Shengxia gave him a particularly surprised look before averting her gaze. She shouldered her backpack and let out a simple "Oh."
Shi Yubai took the initiative to grab her backpack and hold it for her.
But he turned his handsome face away slightly, avoiding her eyes.
After he took her backpack, she looked up and snuck another glance at Shi Yubai.
Whether it was because of the setting sun or something else, his ears were bright red.
Xu Shengxia pouted. She couldn't figure out what was up with him lately.
'He's acting a bit strange.'
But he wasn't showing any dislike for her, so Xu Shengxia felt no sense of alarm.
So however strangely he was acting, it didn't have much to do with her.
