But in the version Chu Yao now held, Gu Yuxin's character was still there, only she was written out after just a few scenes. It was clear her role had been just as unceremoniously cut as it had been added.
Not only that, but her final scene now included a moment where the female protagonist slaps Gu Yuxin's character.
