But seeing that Tie Dan looked like he had something to say, Little White could only nod. "I'm finished. The food was so delicious."
Tie Dan grabbed Little White's sleeve, gave it a tug, and started walking toward the courtyard.
Little White hurried to follow.
Seeing this, the other three also stood up. "Please, you go on and eat, ma'am. We're just going to go for a walk."
The three of them followed behind Little White and Tie Dan.
"Tie Dan, what on earth did you want to tell me?"
Tie Dan pulled Little White to a corner of the courtyard, far enough from the house that they couldn't be overheard if they spoke in low voices.
Tie Dan turned around, his expression dark as he stared at the three humans standing not far away.
"Why are you following me!" he snapped, his tone sharp.
They had just seen this native, Tie Dan, being so nice to the little girl, and had assumed he was good-tempered.
