"I still haven't asked you—what exactly were you doing at that villa in Aethelgard last time?"
That time, the police had rounded up everyone at Aethelgard Villa No. 200. Afterward, Jane Sterling had left with Drew Thorne, so she had no idea how the man before her had managed to escape.
