By now, it was getting dark. This place was completely inconvenient without a car.
They had arrived in a police car.
"Of course, of course. Leo, you can give them a ride."
The officer got into the car and drove Jane Sterling and her friends safely to Aethelgard University.
"I didn't realize you were students at Aethelgard University."
Jane Sterling nodded.
"Thank you."
The officer waved them off. "If we need your help with anything else, we hope you'll cooperate."
Jane Sterling and her friends nodded, then walked back onto the Aethelgard University campus under the moonlight.
When they got to their dorm building, Jane Sterling made a quick stop at a nearby convenience store to buy a battery and slot it into the recording pen.
Back in their suite, they saw Susan Quinn sitting on the sofa with a face mask on. Seeing them return, she greeted them happily.
