Hearing this, Drew Thorne unconsciously puffed out his chest, looking incredibly proud.
"By the way, Grandpa hasn't seen you in a while. When are you free to join us for a meal?"
Drew Thorne remembered Jasper Thorne's instructions.
This time, however, he was inviting Jane Sterling because he wanted to, not because he was being pressured by Jasper Thorne.
Hearing this, Jane Sterling agreed without a second thought.
"Sure. How about some other weekend, then? This weekend won't work for me, though."
Drew Thorne raised his eyebrows.
"You don't have a date with some other guy, do you?"
Drew Thorne was completely unaware of how jealous he sounded. Jane Sterling rolled her eyes at him, finding it rather amusing.
"What are you talking about? This weekend, Joy Fischer invited me over to her house."
Drew Thorne pursed his lips and thought.
"Oh, the tall, skinny girl from your dorm."
Jane Sterling nodded. "That's her."
