Luna Nash looked at Diana Kendall, then at Jane Sterling, her eyes tearing up.
"I guess this is it, then…"
But what could she do? Her biggest college dream was to stand in her living room, sipping coffee and eating cake, while watching cute guys play basketball nearby.
Diana Kendall looked at Luna Nash's pouting face and couldn't help but smile. She ruffled her hair.
"Well, Jane, you two get yourselves settled in. I have some things at the company that I need to take care of, so I'll be heading back now."
Luna Nash quickly waved a goodbye.
"Mom, drive safe."
Diana Kendall nodded. She then pulled out her phone and walked out of the dorm suite while on a call, looking genuinely busy.
Once Diana Kendall was gone, Susan Quinn's parents pulled her into her room.
