Luna Nash was also there, rolling up her sleeves and clearing a path through the area.
"These guys are so damn sneaky, building a secret room in such an unassuming place!"
Luna Nash was just a little curious. 'How did they manage to transport people out of a place this filthy?'
Jane Sterling kept her head down, speaking casually as she continued to clean.
"What if this space behind here isn't a hallway, but an entire secret area? They wouldn't have to transport anyone out; they could just imprison them right inside."
Hearing this, Luna Nash froze.
'She was right.' From the very beginning, all they knew was that children kept disappearing from the orphanage. But there was never any mention of where the children were secretly taken.
It wasn't out of the question that they'd done it all on-site—hollowing out some space within the orphanage grounds to build an underground chamber or something similar.
