Not long after the afternoon shift started, Zhao Yangwu came storming back to the station alone on his bicycle to get backup.
Fu Yiming happened to be holding down the fort at the station. Seeing Zhao Yangwu return seeking support, he didn't hesitate, grabbing a few subordinates to head back out with him.
"What's the situation? Give us the rundown, quick. And weren't you out with Xiao Li? How come you're the one who came back? Where's Xiao Li?" In the car, Captain Fu finally had a moment to ask for the details.
At the mention of Xiao Li, the excited look on Zhao Yangwu's face vanished in a second. It was a long story.
"What's wrong? If something happened, just say it. Don't be such a sissy." Another detective, getting impatient, couldn't help but yell at Zhao Yangwu.
"Heh, yeah, something's up." Zhao Yangwu figured his colleagues would find out sooner or later, so there was no point in trying to hide it. Besides, it was impossible to keep under wraps.
