Xia Zhaoyun pressed her lips together. "Every year in August, there's a large-scale city-wide artistic performance for all the work units. If I can secure the position of team leader and perform exceptionally well on stage, I might get an offer from one of the city's other units."
"And because of the Song Family, I don't really want to stay at the Zhaoyang Clothing Factory for too long anyway."
"Even if I don't get a chance in August, the various work units' song and dance troupes will be recruiting in the fall, and I'll just go and audition then.
