'He's injured?'
Gu Nuan Nuan's brow furrowed slightly.
Luo Xiaohu's face scrunched up as he miserably corrected himself. "My big bro... he just didn't want you to worry about him during the New Year." He hesitated for a long moment before finally mustering the courage to look at Gu Nuan Nuan with pleading eyes. "Ms. Nuannuan, please go see him. His injuries are really serious. He was admitted on the Little New Year. He was trying to save someone and got badly hurt himself. He almost didn't make it..."
Gu Nuan Nuan stared at Luo Xiaohu for a few long seconds before turning away, tossing a cold remark over her shoulder. "...If he went to save someone, it means he was confident he could do it."
'I know that man too well. He doesn't do things he's not sure about. He's especially careful with his life. It wasn't easy for him to get a second chance; why would he possibly sacrifice himself for someone else?'
