The sudden change in Lu Cheng's tone made Shen Nian look up in surprise. Following his gaze to the dust on her clothes, she instantly understood the reason for his abrupt anger.
'But I was sure I'd brushed myself off when I got up,' she thought. 'I can't believe I missed a spot, and of course, Lu Cheng had to be the one to see it.'
