Shen Nian suddenly understood. 'So that's why I felt so warm even in my sleep. It was all thanks to Lu Cheng!'
"You're awake? Do you still feel sick? Want to sleep a little longer?"
The moment Lu Cheng saw Shen Nian open her eyes, he asked anxiously. However, he didn't stop the motion of warming her belly for a second.
Shen Nian shook her head. "I'm much better. It doesn't hurt anymore."
After speaking, Shen Nian struggled to sit up.
Lu Cheng reached out and gently pushed her back down.
"Stay lying down. Don't rush to get up."
Lu Cheng knew she probably couldn't fall back asleep, so he helped her sit up in bed. He even propped a thick pillow behind her back for support.
After tucking the blankets in around her, Lu Cheng stood up and walked off to the side.
Shen Nian watched Lu Cheng the whole time, her gaze following his steps until she noticed something new in the room.
It was a small stove. Shen Nian had seen it in the kitchen before. 'But why is it in our room now?'
