To tell the truth, she really hadn't known that Black and White Impermanence had planted a magical artifact on her. Just moments ago, when she was certain she was going to die, a fierce resentment had welled up from her despair.
'Why? I've worked so hard to live a good life. I don't steal, rob, or cheat. I'm kind to others and do my best to be optimistic. I even help Black and White Impermanence guide lingering souls, I never covet things I shouldn't have, I've never hurt a single person, and I protect stray animals. And yet, this is the miserable end I get!'
