"We need a helper," Mr. Hei said, rubbing his furrowed brow as he brought up the old subject. "Someone who can be on call during the day to help us watch over Huo'er. At the very least, they could relay messages for us."
"Easier said than done. Where would we find someone like that?" Bai Qi's expression grew serious. "We're like cripples, full of flaws and weaknesses, so we can only play defense.
