The overseas filming location for *Inheritor* was in Cambodia, at the estate of a wealthy ethnic Chinese tycoon.
The journey was long, requiring multiple changes of transport along the way. Ni Bingyan had left home just after six in the morning and met up with the film crew at the airport. It wasn't until after ten at night that she finally arrived at their destination.
She wasn't one to spend much time online to begin with, and now, exhausted from the long journey and well past her usual bedtime, she was so sleepy after a few quick bites of food that her eyelids felt glued shut. Naturally, she paid no mind to trivial matters.
And so, she had no idea that countless netizens back home were currently flooding Weibo with comments cursing her out.
Wei Shuojie, who had thought she could finally relax since Ni Bingyan was filming abroad, was forced to suit up for battle once again and wreak havoc on all fronts.
It was genuinely infuriating, but also genuinely thrilling.
