"Huh? My chicken gizzards are gone. I'm going to get a few more skewers. Do you want any, Mr. Sinclair?"
Cole Sinclair shook his head. "No, thank you. I'm pretty much full."
He was always disciplined when it came to food. No matter how delicious something was, he never ate to the point of being completely full.
The two of them ate at the shop for over half an hour. When they left, they each had an ice cream in hand.
Glancing at the identical pink strawberry ice cream in her hands, Cole Sinclair couldn't help but ask, "Why didn't you get two different flavors this time?"
"Because I can finish a whole one by myself!"
So, her previous insistence on sharing a sundae and a mango sago with him wasn't an attempt to get closer to him. She had just wanted to try two things but was afraid she couldn't finish them both.
