Veronica Young immediately got up to get her makeup.
"Auntie Susan, come over here."
"Okay." Sharon Willows looked at Mike and said with a warm smile, "Milo, you should eat more."
"You got it! This is delicious. Auntie Susan, your cooking is better than a five-star chef's," Mike praised.
Sharon Willows sat down in front of the mirror and asked again, a little uneasy, "Joy, will doing my makeup get in the way of your work? Maybe you shouldn't do it."
"It won't." Veronica Young pushed the cup of milk tea into her hands. "Auntie Susan, you can drink this while I do your makeup."
Perhaps afraid she wouldn't drink it, Veronica Young leaned in and whispered in her ear, "This is a token of Mike's goodwill. If you don't drink it, he'll think you have a problem with him."
Upon hearing this, Sharon Willows nodded quickly. "I'll definitely finish it. Milo is such a great guy, how could I possibly have a problem with him?"
