"Stab her?" Christina rolled her eyes, her tone dripping with contempt. "Jason Thorne, come and try it if you've got the guts."
Probably thinking he wouldn't actually do something like that, she added provocatively, "Mia is right here with me. If you have the balls, come and stab her."
Jason Thorne was about to explode with anger. He said viciously, "Fine, you fucking wait. I'll go stab Mia right now and show you."
Christina scoffed. "The one who doesn't do it is a son of a bitch!"
"Just you wait!" Jason Thorne hung up, furious.
Unconcerned, Christina went back to lying on the sofa, editing her photos.
Hearing this conversation, Watermelon was terrified. He lost all interest in the unfamiliar house and just wanted to get Mia out of there immediately.
