Renee Jennings found what Dumpling said utterly unbelievable.
'Why on earth would this old woman treat Joy like this?'
She pressed her lips together, hesitating for a few seconds before speaking. "Fallon, I have a question, but it might be a bit forward."
"That's okay, Host," Fallon said hurriedly. "Ask anything you like."
Renee Jennings: "Is Joy your and your husband's biological child?"

[I was curious too. The old lady's attitude toward Joy is just not right.]
Fallon, however, said calmly, "Joy is our biological daughter. Why do you ask?"
Renee Jennings: "Dumpling says your mother-in-law wants your husband to dislike Joy and favor Momo, to spend all the money he earns on Momo instead."
