Hearing Renee Jennings say she was going to call the police, Barbie Lowe's expression changed. She feigned composure and said, "Go ahead, call the police. I didn't do it, so I'm not scared."
"Fine," Michelle Fuller said, turning to Renee. "Renee, let's call the police then."
"Suit yourselves," Barbie Lowe said haughtily.
Renee took out her phone, and just as she was about to dial, she heard Barbie Lowe's voice.
"My stomach is upset and I feel nauseous. I need to use the restroom."
"Is your stomach really upset, or are you just trying to go to the bathroom to hide the stolen property?" Renee said casually.
Her nerve struck, Barbie Lowe's face instantly darkened, but she still retorted, "I just have an upset stomach. Don't think everyone is as filthy as you just because you have a dirty mind."
"Think we're framing you?" Michelle Fuller scoffed. "Fine. Open your purse."
Renee had texted her earlier, so she already knew Barbie Lowe had stolen Mr. Fuller's antique teacup.
