Renee Jennings watched the bashful girl on the screen and said hesitantly, "This doesn't just concern the cousin. It has to do with your boyfriend, too."
"Huh?" The bashful girl's face was a picture of surprise. "What do you mean?"
"What's this cousin's last name?" Renee Jennings asked.
The bashful girl replied, "Yao."
"Then I'll refer to her as Miss York from now on." Renee Jennings's voice was gentle as she asked, "So, what's your boyfriend doing right now?"
The bashful girl frowned slightly and explained, "He and Miss York are discussing work. I didn't want to listen, so I took a shower and came to lie down in my room."
Renee Jennings blinked, then pressed on. "And this Miss York, how exactly is she his cousin? Through his aunt on his father's side? Or an aunt or uncle on his mother's?"
"Umm..." The bashful girl thought for a moment, then shook her head. "I don't think I've ever asked him."
