WorryFree minimized the livestream, opened her contacts, found the number for her husband's sister, Yana Thornton, and dialed.
The phone rang a few times before it was answered. A woman's slightly confused voice came through. "June? Why are you calling me?"
WorryFree almost never contacted Yana Thornton.
WorryFree started the recording before speaking. "Yana Thornton, don't you know why I'm calling?"
Yana Thornton, on the other end of the line, was not pleased. "June Vance, what is this attitude?"
"Your brother already made everything clear to me," WorryFree said coldly.
"Made it clear?" Yana Thornton's tone immediately faltered. "Made... made what clear?"
WorryFree let out a sarcastic laugh. "You stole my gold without my permission. Your brother said we'll just consider it a loan, and you'll pay me back double. I'm calling you to write an IOU and make it official, so you can't deny the debt later."
"He told you?" Yana Thornton's voice suddenly turned shrill.
