The next day, Renee Jennings returned to the police station, where she found Coco the Sparrow's missing friend, Autumn the white stork.
Autumn was deeply moved to learn that Coco had gone to a human for help to save her.
So, after the police released her, Autumn went to find Coco at the first opportunity. She told Coco that from now on, she would be in charge of catching bugs for it to eat.
"Thank you!" Coco the Sparrow chirped gratefully, then added tactfully, "But I have a place to eat now. You don't need to catch bugs for me."
"Where?" Autumn asked curiously.
"At Renee's house," Coco the Sparrow said proudly. "There's always food on her balcony, and it's much tastier than bugs."
"That's amazing!" Autumn was incredibly envious. "I want to check out Renee's house, too."
Renee Jennings was completely unaware of this.
She was driving when she suddenly received a notification from the system.
